Ball coupler is made of sturdy steel with a primed finish. Circle grip on trigger latch makes it easy to disengage the coupler from the ball. Adjustable channel bracket and mounting hardware sold separately.

bolted right on, is rated above the trailer weight limit so I'm sure it will hold up. So far easy to hook up and unhook.
WE liked the coupler as it has three bolts instead of two so it is a security item as we have broken bolts on two bolt set ups. The coupler lasted about one year before it would not latch down any longer and we ordered another one.
I do love this hitch, its a monster, made very well. Only issue, and for me its small because I very rarely take my trailer off my truck, but releasing and buckling it back on is a little rough, not sure why, like I said, hardly ever take trailer off, so I didn't bother contacting etrailer for a replacement.
I believe its the best out there. most trailer manufacturers only put a two bolt coupler on their trailers on their adjustable height couplers, giving a good chance to rock back and forth ovaling out the holes over time. this third bolt coupler eliminates the chance. second trailer I've put this coupler on.
Replace a coupler that was held on with 2 bolts after 1 bolt failed. Love the security and strength this one has with 3 bolts. Have had issues with couple not releasing from the ball. Gets stuck in the locked position.
replaced a cast coupler on a new trailer as I felt it not safe to pull a 22 foot trailer with a load. Works great.
This product works but you have to learn how to use it. When you drop the coupler on the ball it will not lock until you block the trailer wheel and move forward to seat the ball to the front of the coupler. To unhook you need to do he same thing. I never had this problem with the original coupler in the fifteen years it was on the trailer.
Well built heavy duty product. Will be a huge improvement over the chinese coupler that come on my new dump trailer. Also plan on installing one on my tag trailer.

It works excellently-
I kinda wished it was black so it would match the trailer but gray is fine. I've had people say that I've should've used six short bolts to mount it instead of three long bolts but i tell them that the correct way is three long bolts. Love the fact it has three mounting holes instead of two = more strength.
