Hello neighbors and friends. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at etrailer's very own cash trailer coupler. It's gonna be for an adjustable mount channel, and it has a nice rotating latch on top. It's made for a 21,000 pound capacity and a 2 5/16 inch hitch ball. So folks, this cast ball coupler by etrailer will let you hook up your trailer to the tow vehicle.
Now this will provide a nice connection point for the hitch ball. It has an aluminum die-cast knob here on the top, that's gonna ensure fast and easy secure hookup and disconnect. So I don't know how good you can see it, but it has the word forward and an arrow pointing forward towards the front of the coupler, and it has a lock on the back. So you simply would twist this. It is rotating up as you're twisting.
And then it's locking in, and now forward is pointing towards the back of the trailer. And if you we inchesre to put a ball in, again, a 2 5/16 inch ball, I'm gonna pull one out here just for demo. This is not included. Once that ball's on there and you're hook up to the trailer, you simply twist that back. It locks down into place, and now the ball is secure.
So it's a very fast, simple connection, and it says forward with the arrow. So now I know that it's safe. It's a good visual indicator as well. When it's time to disconnect, I turn it to unlock and it simply unlocks with ease. So again, the ball is sold separately.
Very simple use, very clean operation. I like the fact that you just simply twist it, simple, easy, it's spring loaded. It doesn't have any kind of wiggle room, if you will, or anything like that. It seems like a very, very nice quality made product. It's got the latch and everything inside of here, just like every coupler does. But everything here is nice and beefy, again, rated at 21,000 pounds. It's made for a three inch wide channel. It does come with the two bolts to secure it to that channel. That channel is sold separately, and if you've never used them before, they come in different heights. That way you can adjust the height of the coupler on the trailer depending on your needs. So a lot of times I see these with maybe company trailers and that kind of thing. Maybe you got a work van or employees with different size truck heights. This way you could raise or lower the coupler to the correct height for the safest towing experience. It is a nice black finish on the outside. It's gonna be corrosion resistant. It is SAEJ 684 certified. Nice one year warranty. Again, 2 5/16 inch ball, 21,000 pound capacity. This is etrailer's cast trailer coupler. And again, for an adjustable channel mount. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching. Stay safe while you're towing.
