Thanks. I am looking for an alternative to the usual ball/coupler combo so that I can have greater articulation when I take my travel trailer off road. Any suggestions?

The closest thing that we have to what you are looking for is something like the Demco # Demco Trailer Coupler w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel # DM6125-81 (which can come in a variety of options) which you can interchange with the Demco Lunette Ring # DM09557-81.Aside from that there isn't anything to change a standard trailer coupler out to a lunette ring.

I do have a suggestion to give you great articulation for off-road towing! It is a little different but the Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS504 is a great solution that replaces your A-Frame coupler and has an 11K weight capacity. To tow this with your vehicle you need a specific "ball mount" like part # 336VS501. I have attached a link to our selection of the "ball mount" options that you can choose from. The biggest down-sides to this setup is that you have to swap out your trailer tongue and that you HAVE to use one of the specific ball mounts to tow the trailer. There isn't anything else out there that lets you do this.
