Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a brief look at these DMAX ceramic brake pads with stainless steel back plates. (plate thudding softly) These brake pads are going to give you superior performance for a more consistent braking. These are designed for calipers rated from 7,000 pounds to 8,000 pounds. (plate thudding softly) And these are going to be able to withstand high temperatures without becoming malleable or worn. And they're going to last longer than your organic and semi metallic pads. Now, these are going to produce less dust than NAO or semi metallic models, and these are chamfered and slotted to help prevent squealing.
Now, the stainless steel backing plates are going to give you superior corrosion resistance, so these are gonna be great for salt water applications. And you're going to receive everything that you see here on the table before me. You're gonna receive two sets of pads to fit two break assemblies. We will see, they fit and work, not sure if much different than the Kodiak.
I haven't installed them yet. But I don't know if any hardware was sent with them or not. I would have thought they would have been in a box. They arrived to me with a damage package. It looks like the post office taped up the plastic. Again, not sure if anything fell out. Maybe you can put that in the product description that it will be shipped without a box or any hardware. Also, one set of the pads were opened and loose. Thanks.
