Hello, neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look folks at the Hydrastar ceramic brake pads for 7,000 and 8,000 pound brakes. Now folks, these do provide superior performance for consistent braking. They're able to withstand high temperatures without becoming malleable or worn. They're gonna last longer than your organic and semi-metallic pads, and they resist corrosion very, very well. They're a carbon ceramic, and so that's gonna withstand 196 hours of the salt spray testing.
The backing plate here is double coated in polyurethane. It's gonna produce less dust and everything than those NAO or semi-metallic models that are out there. They have both been chamfered to prevent squeal, and they're gonna last twice as long as your traditional organic pads that are out there. So very nice upgrade if you're looking for some new pads. Again, this will replace the brake pads on two disc brake assemblies.
Well, folks, I'm Steven that's gonna wrap it up for a look today at the Hydrastar ceramic brake pads for seven to 8,000 pound assemblies. Have a good one.
