Today we're going to be taking a look at part number DL21732. This is the Dutton Lainson Boat Trailer Rubber Y Stop. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, this portion back here is going to be a square design. It's going to give us a measurement of three inches by three inches, and this is made from a solid high-grade rubber, so it's going to protect the bow of your boat as you have this mounted, and you bring your boat onto your trailer. This is just that bow stop, also known as a Y stop because of its shape. So that's just going to caress the bow of your boat, and again, the rubber construction is going to make sure that it doesn't cause any harm or damage to the finish or surface of your boat. It's going to have the pre-drilled hole on it.
That's going to give us a diameter of a half an inch, and if we take a measurement of the span. that's simply measuring from this point here going straight across to the point on the opposite side, that's going to give us a measurement of about six and a half inches. Unfortunately with experience it really hasnt worked out. It puts black marks on the front of my boat. Ill probably toss it and buy a non-marring replacement. I wouldnt recommend it to anybody in hindsight.

Still going strong after a year, no cracks like cheap rubber stuff gets, it is working out fine.
