Product is still working fine

by:

Roller has held up well. Used on a small 16 foot lund where I have to winch the boat on so the roller has a lot of weight on it with the trolling motor and batteries in the bow. No issues though.

by:

I am refurbishing an old trailer and need this item. It is exactly the piece I needed to replace. The item was shipped and arrived very fast and I was kept informed of the whole process in a timely matter. Very impressed

by:

The rollers work great. This is a direct replacement on a 29 year old trailer. Boat is a catamaran and the back 2 rollers are the ones I am replacing. When going off and on the trailer the back 2 rollers take the weight of the entire boat and after 29 years they still functioned but the inside diameter was ovaled out. I guess nothing lasts forever.

Top quality, prompt response and great folks to talk to…

First time doing business with this vendor. Website was easy to navigate. Product ordered was exactly as advertised and was delivered sooner than expected.

by:

I had a worn keel roller on our 1987 EZ Loader boat trailer. I found this exact replacement at etrailer. Everywhere else I looked had 5/8" shaft size and this one is 1/2" shaft size. Perfect fit. Etrailer communicated well through the whole transaction.

Roller works great after one year. Just wish I could use the boat more. The roller will last years

by:

Roller is good but I should have have bought wider

by:

Matches the OEM part perfectly

by:

This arrived quickly and has already been installed - due to good info on the dimensions and hardware needed. I highly recommend this vendor for all trailer parts and upgrades.

by:

Just what I needed, good price

by:

excellent service and very quick from their door to mine, in Alaska!

by:

As advertised

by:

Works just fine. Just don't tighten the bolt as tight as humanly possible to allow the roller to still turn.

by:

The YR5213=4P Yates V keel roller with 1/2" shaft fit correctly and I installed it without difficulty or assistance on my old EZ Loader boat trailer. I raised my 12' aluminum skiff up off the old roller using a 4X6 X16" block as a fulcrum and a 6' 2X4 as a lever then blocked it up with another piece of 4X6 on the center trailer member under the keel. I haven't tried loading the boat off and on the trailer but I can see no reason why it shouldn't be a big improvement over the worn out cylindrical roller that I replaced.

by:

The 5" V keel roller is just what I needed. The price was fair, and the shipping was prompt !!

Has given me the service I expected!!

by:

At the time of this writing there is no picture of this roller on this site. I had to basically use the same part in a 5/8 shaft version as a guide for what it looked like and hope I was right, and I was. This is a black, heavy duty rubber roller with a mild taper toward the center. It helps center the boat as it rolls onto the trailer and is extremely tough. I expect this to last a very long time, even with the aluminum V bottom boat that I have that is very tough on rollers.

by:

These are nice heavy duty rollers and for the short money that etrailer sells them for I would say great value! I am going to order some more of them!

I've been looking for a couple of years for a keel roller for a very old boat trailer. Original is rotted away. Finally decided to check with etrailer as I got a good set of LED lights and wiring last week from them. Lo & behold they had the exact replacement in stock & I got it in three days.

Removed old roller and installed new ones, fit like a glove. Seems to be better quality then original equipment.

This was a perfect replacement, works great.

by:

Works and fits Perfect! I think I needed new ones!!

by:

Great product. But i am more impressed by the etrailer.com company. From the great customer service to the fast shipping and low prices. Thanks again. I am now able to continue my 1969 starcraft now that i have it on the trailer.

by:

I needed a number of things and found EXACTLY what I needed as my winter garage project is modifying an old trailer to safely accommodate a vintage runabout. Amazing array of products, always top notch quality, great communication, reasonable prices and quick delivery, etrailer.com is the one-stop of trailer parts and many other essential products. I'm a fan.

by:

The part I was looking for was a common keel roller. So many other sites didn't have what I was looking for, or they were very vague in their description. ETrailer was right on point with what I was looking for and had it shipped to me in a couple of days!

  • Solution for 5/8 inch Keel Roller that Is Slightly to Large for Boat Trailer Shaft
I wish we carried the bushing you are looking for but we do not. It sounds like you have a slightly smaller shaft on your trailer than what the # YR-5213-5 is designed for and would need the part # YR5213-4P that is designed for 1/2 inch shafts and not 5/8 inch like what you have. There isn't a specific amount of play that is recommended, but you basically don't want the roller to be so tight that it would make contact on either side at the same time and wear the roller.

  • Replacement Keel Roller With 1/2 Inch Shaft For Aluminum Trailer
The replacement you are looking for is the Yates V Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - Super-Heavy-Duty Rubber - 5" Long - 1/2" Shaft # YR5213-4P based on the part number you gave. This does not have the white caps, but does have a groove where it looks like they fit. The end marking of 6 makes me confused as no search brings that up. If the measurements are a little different, I've attached the keel rollers page to show you your options.

  • Distance Between Mounting Slots of the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10401G
The CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10401G that you referenced has 3 inches between the two mounting slots. If your current bracket has slots that are 3 inches apart this would fit in it's place.

  • Availability of 5 Inch Long Keel Roller for 1/2 Inch Diameter Shaft
We do have one 5 inch keel roller available that features a 1/2 inch inner diameter. This is with the Yates V Keel Roller # YR5213-4P. This is a heavy-duty rubber, V-shaped keel roller that will work with a 5 inch bracket and 1/2 inch diameter shaft. I have attached a short video demonstration ont his product that you can take a look at. We do also have a nice selection of 8 inch long keel rollers available, such as the Yates # YR8000, however they all feature a 5/8 inch inner diameter....

  • Is There a 6" Long Keel Roller with 1/2" Shaft
The best option we have for what you are looking for is the Yates V Keel Roller for Boat Trailers part # YR5213-4P which is 5" long with a 1/2" diameter shaft. The next size up would be the Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers part # YR8000 which is 8" long but has a 5/8" diameter shaft. I have attached a list of all our keel rollers below as well.

  • Replacement for Keel Roller Marked 5213
Based on that part number it sounds like your bow roller is the Yates Keel Roller. We have two different options based on the diameter of your shaft. If you have a 5/8" shaft you need the # YR5213-5 and for a 1/2" shaft the # YR5213-4P. Both have a 5" length and a 3" diameter.

  • How to Pick Out the Correct Diameter Keel Roller for a Boat Trailer
If you are looking to reuse the current roller shafts that you have you will want to first measure the diameter of them so that you get a matching keel roller for that shaft. You also will want to measure the length of the roller so that you get the correct size in that regard as well. The part # YR5213-5 that you referenced is 5 inches long and designed to fit a 5/8 inch shaft. For a 5/8 inch pal nut that will hold the shaft to the bracket you would want the part # CE10801. If you need...

  • How to Choose Correct Replacement Keel roller and Shaft for Boat Trailer
What you need to do is make sure that the roller fits inside the roller bracket with some slight room so it can turn freely. Then just make sure that the replacement shaft is long enough to reach to the outsides of the bracket so that you can put the caps on it. For example, the Yates V Keel Roller # YR5213-4P is 5" long and takes a 1/2" shaft while the 1/2" shaft # CE10701A is 6-1/4" long and comes with the pal nuts to secure it to the bracket.

  • Replacement Keel Roller Brackets for a Tee Nee Boat Trailer with 3 Inch Rollers
The 3 inch rubber bow roller, # YR3143-4, that you referenced is typically used at the front of the boat near the winch. The rollers that are usually used in the middle and rear are keel rollers. Often times, the v shape of the 3 inch bow roller is too deep for the middle or rear end of a boat hull. I did some research on your Tee Nee trailer and it looks like there are a few different styles that will affect the type of brackets that you will use. If you have frame rails that run perpendicular...

  • 1983 Tee Nee Trailer for a Flying Scot Sailboat Keel Roller Option
