Recommend Keel Roller Setup For 14 Foot Aluminum Boat

Updated 12/30/2011 | Published 12/29/2011

Question:

Could you let me know what product you might offer to support the keel/bow of 14foot aluminum boat. It sits on a 1980 Dilly trailer. I want to add roller to the 3inch square trailer tongue just before bow curves off trailer tongue. Need roller bracket, mount bolts and low profile centering roller. Thanks

I would recommend using the Universal Roller Brackets, # MBSPB, this will mount near the front of the trailer. Then you can use the 8 Inch Keel Roller, # DL21712, and a 5/8 inch Steel Shaft like part # CE10727A that includes two pal nuts

You will need to measure your trailer to see if you have space to mount the brackets. You will need an 8 inch area that the brackets can be installed in and adjusted for the roller to contact the keel of the boat.
