Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this MEC non-leaching RV propane pigtail hose. Now this non-leaching RV propane pigtail hose is going to be the connection between your propane cylinder and your RV's propane regulator. This is going to be about 15 inches long and it's designed for high pressure LP gas service. Now what makes this hose different from a standard propane pigtail is its non-leaching oil free construction.
Some contaminants found in LP gas can cause standard hose material to break down over time. That deterioration can make its way into the propane system and potentially clog the regulator or appliances. So MEC designed this hose to resist those contaminants, helping to keep that material out of the propane system. For connections, the tank side uses an Acme type one fitting while the regulator side has a quarter of an inch male inverted flare fitting. The hose itself has a quarter of an inch inside diameter and those connection types are going to be important obviously to check against your existing propane cylinder and regulator before picking this up.
I think that's going to wrap up our look today. Again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
