Getting hitched up doesn’t have to be a wrestling match. The Falcon 2’s stainless steel inner arms slide in and out smoothly and can extend to the perfect length and angle for your setup. You don’t have to be perfectly lined up—just connect one side at a time and pull forward. The Autowlok mechanism automatically locks the arms into towing position so you’re ready to roll without extra adjustments. When it’s time to unhook, press the release button to disengage the pins and telescope the arms again for an easy disconnect.
Tight corners at gas stations and campground loops stop being a headache when you’ve got more reach behind your RV. With arms extended to 53" and retracting to 41-3/4", this tow bar gives you a wider turning radius than average, so you can swing through tighter spots without worrying about clipping anything.
This tow bar is more than just sturdy—it's engineered for strength and safety. Finite Elemental Analysis (FEA) testing subjects it to thousands of pounds of pressure to find and reinforce every stress point. The result is a 6,000-lb-capacity bar with a high-tech powder coat finish to guard against rust. Self-lubricated nylon bushings cut down friction between the arms, keeping the mechanism smooth over years of towing.
When the trip’s done, the Falcon 2 folds up neatly on the back of your RV. Push the arms up until the holding latch clicks, then swing them to either side—left or right—for storage. It keeps the back of your rig tidy and ready for the next haul.
With built-in Blue Ox adapters, this tow bar connects directly to Blue Ox base plates—no extra parts or modifications needed. It fits a 2" x 2" hitch receiver and weighs 38 lbs, making it a solid, reliable link between your RV and towed vehicle every mile down the road.
Flat towing can be a much more convenient way to take your car RVing with you than using a trailer or a tow dolly. It'll save you storage space both at home and at the campsite, and it takes less time and hassle to hook up.
To flat tow your vehicle, there are 5 basic components you're going to need: a tow bar, a base plate kit, a safety cable set, tow bar wiring, and a flat tow braking system.

The custom-fit base plate installs on the frame of your toad so you can connect the car to your RV with a tow bar. Hook up safety cables between the vehicles to ensure that the toad does not separate from the motorhome if the tow bar becomes detached. Tow bar wiring syncs your vehicle's signal lights with your motorhome's tail lights, as required by law in most states. Finally, the flat tow braking system - also required in most states - activates the brakes in the toad when you hit the brakes in the RV, making for smoother, safer braking, and preventing wear on your motorhome.

Even after I complained to you that I had been -- falsely -- told you do not supply a Blue Ox base plate for Malibus and bought a Roadmaster, you send me a Roadmaster tow bar with some other brand's connectors. I will shortly send you a photograph of the base plate connection I have and expect you to send connections that match it.

I ordered an entire setup to flat tow my Subaru with my RV. Having never done this before I was nervous about missing something I might need. etrailer made it very easy when I called them on the phone. I told them what I was trying to do and they made sure I had everything needed to complete the job. I was given a name and phone number to call the same person if I had any issues. When one of the boxes was opened it was missing two pins from the manufacturer. A quick phone call and they had them in the mail in a matter of hours. This kind of personalized service is missing in our ever changing world. It was a pleasant surprise to find it here. Great Job etrailer. I will favorably recommend to everyone.

The product, Falcon 2 Tow bar, is a definite improvement on my 10+ year old Blue Ox Aladdin. Probably not a fair comparison due to age difference. Went on a 700 mile test ride, all is good!
The packaging from Roadmaster / etrailer could use improvement. The box arrived with multiple holes large enough to stick my arm through to other side. etrailer support confirm Ed no loose parts to fall out of box and product seems to be ok.
The tow bar while in use is a few inches longer vs the Blue Ox Aladdin it replaced. Therefore my safety cables & brake disconnect are a bit short.
I purchased a 2019 Chevy Traverse because it was towable. To my dismay, roadmaster did not have a baseplate designed for this vehicle. I waited for some time and then found that blue ox had a baseplate. I loved my previous roadmaster towbar, and was pleased to find that this towbar came with the blue ox connectors. I have been very pleased with how easy it is to hook up and un hook the toad. This is much better than my previous car mount towbar. I would highly recommend this towbar.

The towbar still functions flawlessly. The connector arms still slide in and out very easily. The unit just works, and works well. I will still highly recommend this towbar.

I decided to use an antique Blue Ox tow bar to pull my Mini Cooper behind our RV on a trip to Panama City beach last year. Big Mistake! If it looks questionable, don't use it. When we arrived I was extremely thankful that the Mini was still with us. The old Blue Ox bar was coming apart. I looked locally for a replacement and found one at Camping World and was shocked at the price. eTrailer had the exact same unit for hundreds and hundreds less. And they shipped it quickly right to the camp ground. The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar is very easy to us and mated right up to the Blue Ox kit on the Mini. Thanks eTrailer! We will definitely buy from you again!

1 year later and I am still glad I bought this tow bar. I have used it on my pickup truck to pull our mini on home after a break down left it stranded at my office. Very well built product and still happy with the purchase.
This will be an easy on and off procedure. Itching to try it on new Chevy Trax 2RS.
