I just received them and they look very good However I'm hoping I never need to use them. Our driveway is iver a mile long up hill all the way. We get it plowed and I've been able to get up so far but there maybe occasions where these chains will be necessary and I need easy on and off chains so that is why I purchased these particular chains. They are expensive but worth it
I absolutely love these chains. They go on fast, and come off fast.I used them alot last year. people could'nt beleve how fast i got them on.
Nice place to do business with. The item I ordered was out of stock, but Pat kept me informed as to what was happening often. Haven't had a chance to try putting them on yet, I can't comment on that yet. Would recommend this company.
We've never had to use these but it's absolutely necessary in snow country. I just wish the packaging wasn't so large. A previous set that we had for another similar sized SUV was quite a bit smaller.
We've had really mild Winters, so the chains were thankfully not needed...yet. The peace of mind my husband and I felt, having them in the boot of the car, definitely helped. Both of us watched the helpful video on how to put the chains on our 2016 Toyota Venza. The video really boosted our confidence pre-road-trip. Thank you very much!
These chains are pretty easy to install if you follow the step by step instructions to the letter. They are not inexpensive but they do eliminate the need to crawl around in frozen mud and snow.
Worked easily as advertised. Great improvement in snow chain installation and removal for we elderly folks who do not want to be reaching behind snow and ice covered wheels.
Easy to use tire chains, had a little bit of trouble taking them off but once I figured out how to it was easy to do.
Easy to install. I taught my wife and daughter how to install the snow chains in less than 1 minute. They were able to install and remove the snow chains by themselves easily. Point to note: the removal process requires some hand strength to pinch the two red tabs down and not get hit by the tension shuttle springing up. Also, the snow chains tension had to be released when I opened the box. Other than these two relatively minor issues, I'm a satisfied customer.
These work great. This is more of a review for etrailer and their customer service. Had a hard time tracking these specific chains down but George J. in their customer service department followed up and got the item to me quick. Thank you!

Maybe I was overexuberant... Second use, Up steep driveway again, spun tires at the top and VOILA! the chains came off. So easy on, easy off...Reviewed order w customer service, who says I ordered wrong chains. Website is ambiguous, stating no, no fit, and just below, in ordering based on exact tire specs, yes will fit. So beware. Check reviews for a real history of use, not just first impressions. Not even sure Id give the product 3 stars now, 1 year out.
Ordering was very easy. Product descriptions are concise, shipping costs are provided, tracking of your order through to delivery appreciated. Everything you need to easily shop and place your order is on their website. Customer Service sends a courtesy email when they’ve been told delivery of your product has been made. etrailer is highly recommended!
Outstanding product and price. I was able to put these on the tires in what was likely about 1.5 minutes per tire! My wife and daughter can install these without any trouble, which was a main point in purchasing the Konig easy fit, self tensioning system. Not as heavy as the chains on my 4wd vehicles, but for my Mazda CX9 with not a lot of room in the fender well, these are among the few options out there that are made of real chain, and not a cable. These chains are available elsewhere online at about $120 more than I paid at etrailer, and they showed up within a few days of ordering. I added my own kneeling pad and leather gloves to the bag that contains the chains.
So thankful I have these chains. They have bailed me out more than once. I opted to buy them instead of getting dedicated winter tires. As with most chains, once you put them on your tires, you really can't go more than 35 MPH, so you won't be using them for long times - just when you need to use them, and only when you need to use them. (I also purchased a pair of rugged winter gloves from Home Depot which I keep in the case with the chains, which I recommend because it's cold and snowy outside wherever you are going to put them on.) I highly recommend these as the ultimate backup.
The Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains are just the right combination of ease of installation and effectiveness against the inclement weather here in the mountains of Oregon. Their low profile work well with the air suspension of my Range Rover Sport.
I couldn't be happier with the product or the service at etrailer.com. The staff kept me up to date with my order and offered an alternative product since my selection was on backorder. I will definitely consider order from them again.
They broke the first time I used them. I hadn't had to use them until almost a year after purchasing them and when I did the cable snapped after about 20 miles. I was almost left stranded on a mountain at 1:30am with no cell phone service in the snow. Thankfully I was able to make it slowly and safely off the mountain without chains the rest of the way, but just barely.
I feel confident that I applied them correctly based on the instructions and website videos, so I believe they were defective.
I'm still trying to contact Konig to have them replaced, but the responses I'm getting are half in English and half something else even though I chose English. So I'm pretty frustrated with the customer service on Konig's end at this point.

Fits well. Easy to put on and take off. Silicon spray on the red cables seems wise. Maria was amazing in customer service. I love etrailer. One thing I would change. Use fewer staples when packing the box. I had lots of staples in my Konig box, which I would liked to have kept nice with a $[XX] product. See photos

One problem removal was difficult. The cable on one of the chains hangs up making it impossible to remove from the tire. WD40 saved the day but I feared I may have had to cut the cable to remove the chain. Any suggestions from the manufacturer would be appreciated. Ill keep a can of WD40 and some wire cutters handy in the meantime. S0...easy to apply, removal not so much.
