Question:
My question is one you probably hear a lot. 2023 Chevy Colorado with 4wd. Is it better to put the chains up front or rear? Chevy just says drive axle. Seems like the front would be better for braking and going up hills.

Since your 2023 Chevrolet Colorado is 4wd the front axle is going to also be a drive axle. This means you will be able to place the tire chains on the front axle to improve traction for drive, steering and braking. Depending on your tire size will help verify the best chains for your truck. Personally the Konig Easy Fit Tire Chains # TH04115255 are my favorite due to the ease of installation and removal. Since it is always freezing and slippery when you need to add the chains these are some of the fastest and easiest to install. This particular chain will fit the following tire sizes.
235/55-20
235/65-18
245/50-20
245/70-17
245/75-16
