Best Tire Chains for a 2018 Audi Q5 with 255/45-20 Tires

Question:

I have a 2018 Audi Q5 Quattro. The tire size I have are listed on the outside as 255-45R 20. What are the best snow/ice chains that will work with this tire size? Thank you.

According to the owner's manual for your 2018 Audi Q5, tire chains can be installed so long as they are on the rear wheels and do not not add more than 0.53" or 13 mm in height. The absolute best snow/ice chains for the 255/45-20 tires that you have on your 2018 Audi Q5 are the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains part # TH04115255.

The Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains are only 10 mm tall so you should not have any clearance issues. They have d-shape links for increased traction in both snow and ice. The best feature of all is that they are very easy to install. All you will need to do for this is drape them over the tires and then use your foot to press down on the tensioning lever to secure them.
