Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs directly into existing wiring. Powered ModuLite reduces strain on wiring system.

Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

This harness was installed over a year ago along with a Etrailer hitch. It has performed flawlessly during this time period and has not had any issues at all. I highly recommend this harness.

Seems to be exactly what I needed for my 2022 Sorento.
It took me roughly 3 hours to install and was a pretty simple task.
The only instruction issue I had was with taillight removal. After removing 10mm screws you need to use a flat plastic spatchula or body tool to pry the bottom half of the taillight assembly towards the rear end of the car. There's 2 mounting studs there that prevent you from removing the taillight assembly.
Other than that, route your wire forward to the battery by removing the underside panels and it's a piece of cake.

Ive pulled several trailers since installing the wiring and everything is working great. Ive even travelled through a massive snow storm with slush and ice buildup under the car and in the wheel wells. My wiring remains intact and undamaged.

Competitively priced and just what we needed since our Kia wasn't pre-wired for towing
NOte that for the 2022 kia Sorento plug0-in hybrid the rear-mounted battery makes this both easy and hard: the wirign is very short to mount onm the hitch below, but the battery sits in a weather proof well, which you need to wire through, there is a square tube below with plastic grommet, going through that you can keep it weather proof and the square framing tube has access holes a couple of inches away from under the car so then no drilling is needed, just slightly tricky to fish it out to start with. but then you are right next to the hitch frame and can route it to anywhere you want to place the connector (I used a L-bracket, which seems to hold it in place very nicely, adding some grease to the connector, has also kept it good and avoided corrosion with multiple uses.)

I fist purchased a harness on Amazon that said it would work, but it did not fit my 2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid. After that I went to etrailer and gave them a try. The harness and tow-bar arrived on time and the video was really helpful when I installed the harness. It worked great once I got it in. It was a little challenging to install, but that was noted on their site when I purchased it. Not really bad, just a bit more work than others I have installed in the past. Overall, it was exactly as advertised and I would highly recommend buying from etrailer again. Their parts fit and work as advertised, they have great installation videos, and their customer support is levels above Amazon and most other online stores. Very professional and well run company!

After Amazon sent me 2 different kits that were both incorrect, I placed my order with etrailer and got exactly what I needed for my SUV. The kit was complete and spot on workmanship!
Trailer hitch and harness installed easily as promised and have had no issues as of yet, one year later. We installed in my daughters SUV to move her from WI to Texas.
This wiring harness fit my Kia Sorento perfect. Plug and play removed the tail lights plugged in the adaptors and ran the wires. Plugged the wires into the tester to check proper operation. Made the job so much easier and made the installation quicker. The perfect complement to make it a professional looking job.

Great product! Fits and works exactly as described! Took me about 3 hours to install on my Kia Sorento Hybrid! I had to get this kit after the dealership refused to let me order the OEM one.
installed myself ,Kia had recall on their hitches and wiring, so they had to look at mine. It passed inspection with no issues.
Easy to find the correct part on the website and order but the install was a little different only because I have a hybrid so battery is in back so you don’t have to navigate the power cable through the firewall or anything like that. Major plus!
Although this was the wrong harness (my fault), the delivery time was great and the customer service to return the item was top notch. I will surely be purchasing more items from this company in the future.

The product fits and seems to work, but the instructions are terrible and missing a bunch of really important steps. This product needs an install video.
