I have included a video of a trailer brake controller being installed in a different vehicle, but we have not had the chance to install one in a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor.

If you do not already have a 7-way connector installed, you will need to install one by first installing a 4-way connector # C56039.

With a 4-way connector installed you will then need to install the # ETBC7 which will give you wiring needed to power trailer brakes. This will allow you to use a traditional trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 which is one of our most popular controllers due to its reliability, easy to read LCD screen, and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand.

Another option is to install the # ETBC7L and use the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 which will plug directly into the 7-way connector and will not require you to run any wires inside of the passenger compartment of your Endeavor or drill any holes to mount it.

Between these options I recommend the # ETBC7L and # C51180 as it will have a less in-depth install, and since you will be able to use the # C51180 in any vehicle that has a functioning 7-way connector if you change vehicles.

I went ahead and included videos of each of the products mentioned being installed to give you an idea of what the installation process looks like.
