Question:
Hello, I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, and im looing to haul a 2009 Rpod 174. I need to upgrade my current 4 way wiring hook up ro a 7 way hook up that can withstand the amount of voltage needed for the brake light system of the Rpod. Could you help me with what I need to upgrade with?

Expert Reply:
Certainly; since you already have a 4-way like the Curt # C56039 on your 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, you can add a 7-way with one kit:
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
The 4-flat will activate your trailer's lighting functions, and you'll then plug the 4-way into the 7-way that comes with the # ETBC7, which also gives you the wiring, circuit breakers, and rest of the hardware needed for installation.
