Great upgrade when pulling our 6500lb travel trailer. Helps with sag and control on the road on our Ram 1500. Change the stock shocks and if you choose, upgrade your stock springs, and you'll get the most out of your half ton.
Absolutely Pleased with the TIMBRENS. They were easy to install, and took less than an hour to install both. I noticed a slight stiffness in the ride as the rear bounced over a bad roadway. Towing is great, with a nice level and smooth ride. I am glad that I did not order the heavier duty Timbrens, than what was recomended for my truck. I believe the ride would have been too stiff. If you look at the photos showing the timbrens, the truck is still lifted in the rear, so what you see is a big gap between the rubber, and the steal plate. When the truck is lowered, there's 1" of space as it should be. BTW, I have been purchasing from etrailer for years now, and I have to say that I have never had any issues with any orders. They are my go to folks for all of my vehicle suppension stuff and trailer stuff. You can't go wrong with buying from them.
Easy install took about 20 minutes on my 2017 Ram 3500 SRW. Had about 1/2 inch clearance as recommended. Loaded up my 5th wheel (2350 hitch weight) and about 200 lbs of gear in the bed. Just got back from a 800 mile camping trip through mountains of TN. You can really feel the difference around those sharp corners and uneven surfaces. The truck felt firm and controlled not hard and jarring as some have mentioned. Going over those overpasses with the wonderfully smooth (Not) joists was greatly improved. The truck would squat and rebound again, with a firm controlled response. Driving without a load felt the same as before without them. I would highly recommend these! Ordering from etrailer continues to be my go to option!

These are fantastic. All Timbren Suspension Products I have used work great and noticeably improve handling and performance.
Haven't installed yet but the customer service and delivery was excellent so far. I called Timbren prior to ordering to double check I was selecting the correct product for my 2wd Tacoma, which actually needs the 4wd drive version the the Timbren bumpstops bc of the TRD model. Timbren immediately picked up the phone and quickly assisted me.
They didn't really work for me. The truck (93 Toyota Pickup) ended up riding completely on the Timbrens and not the springs making for a super bouncy ride. I ended up taking them off after a month.
This is a great product for when i am towing. It really beefs up the rear suspension and prevents the proverbial Tacoma sag. However, since it is not easily removable, it stays in place all the time. It makes the ride rough, and you can feel every little bump. No give. I knew this going in, but I think air shocks would have been a better decision. Overall happy with the performance.
This product has worked extremely well. Ride is a little rougher but very stable when towing our teardrop and kit or hauling tools to worksite. I do have experience with airbags but feel a more stable ride in corners, etc with this product
The overall product design and usage has been excellent. Carrying heavy loads is easy and my '01 Tacoma handles bumps and ranch roads much better loaded down. I'm running a 3-in lift so there is no contact from the rubber springs and unless I'm heavily loaded, works great for off-roading. I had to grind the corner off one of the mounting plates to make room for my brake line,and get creative about starting the nuts inside the rubber springs but it was well worth it.
Installed these on my 2004 Tacoma 4 door, 4WD. They were great with a trailer on back and handled the load great. Without the load of a trailer it is like riding a hard tail Harley. In the process finding something different to help the sagging springs.

This worked great and was easy to install. No impact to driving quality when unloaded. Does make a nice improvement to ride quality when loaded and the rear end of the truck does not sag under the load.
One issue is the bolts were about 1/2" too short, the nylock washer barely makes it onto the threads.
I own a 2002 Toyota Tacoma crew cab, with a leer topper, I work in construction and carry my tools all of the time.
I’m very pleased with it and it’s been the best I ever had.
the bolt should be galvanized or stainless, the bolt is getting a bit of rust after one year.
Even then I would recommend this.

Just what the truck asked for...
I’m a Farrier, I carry a full workshop in the bed of my truck 24/7. I drive a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. After a couple months I redid the entire front and rear suspension and added heavy duty rear leafs. After about a year of driving and also adding more tools the truck began to sag a little bit. Ofcourse, the first thing anyone suggested was “airbags” but they didn’t know the use of the truck or where the truck goes from day to day. Being a Farrier, I travel on everything from paved freeways to down and dirty “4lo” back roads. I needed a maintenance and care free system that would allow for over extension and hold the extra weight of my tools and sometimes even a trailer. I did a ton of research and even talked to the Technician Staff at each company. I ultimately decided to go with Timbren SES Kit. It’s easy to install, maintenance free, free floating, and has the best warranty in it’s category. Since I have a custom setup (Ubolt Flip Kit from AllProOffroad) I had to design and build some landing pads to allow for an “interference free” contact with my system. After the first day of working, I am COMPLETELY satisfied with its performance and how my truck feels and drives.
As for ”Etrailer” I am very happy with all the information and excellent customer service. I received my parts 2 days before it’s orignal date which makes me super Happy!
Having purchased a cargo trailer, I thought it might be wise to beef-up the rear suspension on my 2000 Tacoma. I found the Timbrens on etrailer, and it sounded like they might work well, so I purchased a set and installed them. According to the instructions, there should be about a 1/2" gap between the top of the springs, and contact with the bottom of the Timbren - unless you have a CAP on the truck! The gap pretty much evaporated because of the fiberglass Leer cap. So, I'm getting contact a lot of the time. Result is, my ride has become stiffer than I'm used to, but not so much that it bothers me. Like my wife said, " It's a truck! Hello!!" (OK, I'm satisfied with the product.)

Keep in mind that the gap Timbren refers will diminish as the springs wear. Since the truck is a 2000, it probably has some miles on it and if it has hauled heavy loads in the bed or has pulled a trailer, then the leaf springs may just be worn.

A year later and 5,304 miles pulling the trailer, I think the Timbrens are a good investment. With a typical pull of 2,555 lbs of trailer and load, and approximately 300 lbs of tongue weight, Im finding the truck actually rides better than it does with no load. And, theres no maintenance whatsoever!

The Timbren Aeon springs are meant to be used on a suspension thats in good repair. Normally, the vehicles ride will be completely normal until the rear suspension is loaded either from cargo or by the tongue weight of a trailer, at which time the suspension will compress far enough that the Timbren springs come into play.
