Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the Bauer Products Gloss Black T-Handle Lock for Truck Caps. Now this locking t-handle will replace a broken or damaged handle on your truck cap or camper shell. It is a counter-clockwise rotating handle. You can see it'll mount on the driver's side of your dual-lock cap.

And when you do install this, it is a blind mounted design. Basically it installs flush with the mounting hardware to remain hidden inside the lock cap. And it is a nice die-cast zinc construction, which is very durable and built to last. It is a nice gloss black color. And you can see if you turn it counterclockwise, it opens.

Turn it back, it closes. Now this one comes with two double-sided keys are included and the double-sided keys are nice because you can insert them either way.You don't have to have them in the right position, up or down or right to left. Just put it in either way, turn it 180 degrees. Take your key out. And it locks the handle from opening.

And then when you go to unlock it, again, put it in any position, 180 degrees, take it out and it'll unlock it. So very simple to operate. A few dimensions on this handle. The handle itself, the width is 3-1/2" long. The depth of it from the front to the very bottom of the base, it's right at 2".

The length of the shaft here, it's going to be right at 2". And then the distance between the mounting holes center to center. These are the two mounting holes right there. It's right at 1-1/2". And again, just to show you. That's to open it. Put your key in there, turn it 180 degrees, take it out and it's locked.
