When the rear end starts to sag under a heavy trailer or loaded bed, handling and braking take a hit. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate air helper springs give you up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your ride level and stable. By sharing the weight across all four wheels, steering stays predictable and your headlights stay aimed where they should. Whether it’s a full bed of gear or a fully loaded trailer, you get balanced support that keeps your suspension working as it should.
Hitting rough roads or uneven loads can send harsh jolts through the suspension. These air springs have internal urethane jounce bumpers that act as a built-in fail-safe if air pressure drops. The jounces engage progressively under load to absorb bumps, reduce sway, and help with cornering. Even with zero air pressure, they temporarily carry weight to protect your suspension from bottoming out so you can keep moving with confidence.
Durability matters when you’re hauling heavy and often. Each LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate spring uses 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber for strength and long life. The high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than steel, while exclusive roll plates protect the air bags from damage and add up to 10% more load capacity. It’s a setup built to handle years of real-world work without leaks or rust getting in the way.
Every haul is different, and these air springs let you dial in the right firmness for each one. Inflate both sides equally for front-to-back leveling or adjust them independently for side-to-side balance when carrying off-center loads. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included for easy access at the bumper, and an onboard compressor system can be added later for automatic adjustment from the cab. With that flexibility, you can run softer when unloaded or firm things up instantly when it’s time to tow again.
Getting load support set up doesn’t have to mean tearing down your truck. The kit includes mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and valves for a complete install using common tools. Once mounted, just inflate the springs, tune your pressure between 5 psi and 100 psi, and you’re ready to haul with better stability and control every time you hit the road.

Product works great and helps level the truck during towing. I have noticed a difference in the amount of travel my back wheels have when offloading. But I knew that would be a sacrifice.

Been great! I really don’t like the internal jounce stops though. When you are unloaded and running lower bag pressure, a dip or bump will hit the bump stops really hard and jar your passengers in the backseat. It’s almost too uncomfortable to ride in the backseat now. As for the loaded and high pressure performance it’s great! Great handling and no sag at all when towing.

It works great. It really levels up my truck when my large travel trailer is attached. Wh went on a 6,000 mile trip last spring and we felt a lot safer.
