What Can I Do If I Have A 1" Lift On My F-150 Wanting To Add Airbags?

Question:
If I add an additional 1inch of spacer to the rear axel of my 2023 F-150 Tremor does this airbag also need a spacer or will it work without one? Thx, Todd

Hey Todd,
With any lift added to the vehicle spacers will be needed for airbags like the # AL54JQ kit you mentioned. The original hardware and brackets are meant for a stock height vehicle. With that said we are not able to know what size spacer is needed based off of the 1" lift you are wanting. There is not a standard so you would need to measure the distance between the top and bottom brackets when installing to know exactly what size spacer is needed for your application.

Hey Todd, were you able to measure the distance between the top and bottom brackets after adding that 1-inch spacer to your F-150 Tremor? Once you had that measurement, did you find the right spacer size for the airbag setup? Your update could make it easier for others doing a similar lift.
