Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles that have a four-inch lift. Now, these will install your Ride-Rite air springs on a lifted vehicle using these lift spacers. These will fit the Firestone Ride-Ride kits, part number F2286 and part number F2350. Basically, these spacers are gonna attach between the bottom of the lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on vehicles that have a four-inch lift.

Now, the spacer itself must be the same size as the lift kit rise, and the distance between the upper and lower brackets on the vehicle must be between 9 1/2 and 10 1/2 inches. It will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the two lift spacers and all the hardware necessary for installation, and these lift spacers do fit axle-mounted air springs. But that's gonna do it for a look at the lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Right Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a four-inch lift.

Better then Pictured! I initially installed my Firestone Bags without these spacers but quickly learned that I was going to need them due to my F250 having a 6" lift. I bought the 4" spacers due to the measurements from my bottom bracket to my top bracket between the bag and it is perfect now. The items in the product description kinda look weak but trust me, these things are big and meaty and extremely well built.

Heads up for everyone ordering...
You will always see descriptions for these as either axle mount or leaf mount. Well... my Firestone kit is actually installed to the side of the leafs and the bracket slides over the bottom jounce stop. I went ahead and got the axle mount spacers but knew I was taking a risk. I made it work though and both spacers went in in about 30 minutes.

When I installed the spacers I just made sure to use some locktite on my bottom bolt. The entire setup feels VERY sturdy so I'm not worried about it at all. As always, Etrailer support was fantastic.

They are built of great quality and seem very strong however, I was unable to utilize them for my airbag install. Even though I installed an 6inch suspension lift on my 2006 Dodge 3500 2wd, the lift is misleading. I installed the airbag plates and measured to get an accurate measurement. According to the measurements, I required the 2in spacer for the bags and they were of the same quality as these. Great product!

My vehicle is a 2003 Ford E350 4X4 Sportsmobile. The product quality is excellent but the 2061 kit required a lot of workarounds, cutting and drilling. When it looked like the 2061 would not fit, I had to call Firestone. The tech said that I needed a 4" spacer from Firestone. It took two of us 3 days to install the first air bag. Hopefully, the second will take less time as we are working outside.

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

  • Will Air Lift Air Bag Kit AL88388 Require Spacers For 2020 GMC 1500 AT4 With Additional 2" Lift?
Hello Jeremy, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track with the Air Lift # AL88388 and Firestone # F2609 being the correct options for your 2020 GMC Sierra AT4. Since your truck has an additional 2" lift on top of the AT4 stock lift, you will need an additional spacer regardless of which kit you go with. The Air Lift # AL88388 is designed for the AT4 stock 2" lift, but an additional spacer would be needed since you have additional lift. The air lift 2" spacer is part # AL52420. The...

  • Can I Use Airbags on my 2015 Ram 1500 with Lift Kit
The airbag kit I recommend for your 2015 Ram 1500 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57365. This kit will provide support while towing and work to help preserve the life of your existing suspension components. In order to then make this kit compatible with the 4" rear lift kit you are going to need a spacer. In most cases, you just need to match the height of the spacer to the height of the suspension lift, not body lift. If the suspension has been raised 4" in...

  • Recommended Air Bags and Spacers for a 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 w/a 4" Lift
Hey Alex. The Firestone Air Helper Springs item # F2613 is going to be the correct Ride-Rite kit for your 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500. These air springs, and their included brackets, work with both the 2WD and 4WD models and are compatible with in bed hitches. Which spacers you need are going to be determined by how much lift is in the rear end of your Silverado. Most 4" lift's, like mine on my Silverado, are only 2"ish inches in the rear. If your truck has a rear lift of 2" you'll need...

I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 which fit your truck with your gooseneck hitch and the air bags can be adjusted individually from 5 psi to 100 psi so you can set them differently when you are towing or not towing; they also have a 5,000 lb load-leveling capacity. • Recommended Air Bag Kit for a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ Magna Ride and a 6 Inch Lift
There is an air bag kit that will work with your truck but since you have Magna Ride the Air Lift item # AL89204 will not. None of the Air Lift kits are compatible, so I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2430. These air springs have a comparable 4,800 lbs load leveling capacity. To compensate for your 6" lift you will need a spacer and to find out which one you will have to take a measurement. You'll want to make sure that your Sierra is level with all the wheels...

The best air bags for your 2022 F-350 are the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV. • Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags on a 2003 Ford Excursion with 4 Inch Lift
The 2 Firestone spacer kits that you mentioned, # F2371 and # F2370, each fit different types of Firestone Ride-Rite kits. First, style # F2371 fits on Ride-Rite models that mount to the vehicle axle. The other one, # F2370, fits on models that mount to the leaf spring stack. The kit that you have, # F2251, is an axle mounted kit so you would need spacers # F2371. The spacer kit used needs to be same as the amount of lift on the vehicle. So if the ride height increased by 4 inches you...

  • Best Way to Level a Jeep Wrangler Towing a Travel Trailer
I have a better solution that I can provide for you, but Firestone does not have spacers available for their Coil Rite system anyway so suspension enhancement would not work. What you would want is a weight distribution system. A WD system also levels the tow vehicle like suspension enhancement, but it does so by distributing some of the trailer tongue weight up to the front axle of the vehicle. This greatly helps handling and braking. The best way to pick out a weight distribution system...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement and Towing Parts for a Lifted 2018 Ford F-150 and 10K Trailer
I'll start off by saying the best way to tow is without a lift kit or bigger tires on any pickup because the more height you add the easier it is for your vehicle to squat and the more difficult it can be to find the correct components for towing. With that being said, there are people out there who still tow safely with a lifted truck so it is definitely possible. If you decide to go ahead with the customization, it sounds like the weight you will be towing with your 2019 Ford F-150 will...
