To install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2299 you were looking at on your 2012 Ram 3500 Mega Cab SRW with a 3-1/2" lift block you will need to use a spacer.
The way to measure for the correct spacer is the measure from the distance between the upper and lower brackets.
If you get a measurement between 8-1/2" and 9-1/2" you will need the 3" spacer # F2368, and if you get a measurement between 9-1/2" and 10-1/2" you will need the 4" spacer # F2371.
Lastly to keep from having to manually air up the helper springs each time you are ready to tow a trailer or carry a heavy payload I recommend adding an on-board air compressor # AL25592 which will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the helper springs from the comfort of your driver seat.
I included a video of the # F2299 being installed for you to take a look at.
