Hello, neighbor. Welcome back to etrailer.com. I'm Steven. Today we're taking a look at the Evo fixed point feet for your Thule Evo crossbars with fixed mounting points and tracks. Now you will get four of these feet here and four plastic key blanks and the torque limiter key, as well. So the four heavy duty feet, again, are gonna mount to your Thule Evo crossbars that will then mount to your vehicle with the fixed mounting points or tracks.
Those are sold separately, the crossbars and the custom fit kit. This again, is just the fixed point feet. Now these will work with the Thule square bar Evos, the wing bar Evos, the slide bar Evos, and the pro bar Evo crossbars. It's a very simple, fast click-in insulation with the included torque tool. You simply take off the plastic cover.
You'll mount these up to that custom fit kit, and then you simply use the torque limiter tool. You can make that tighter, looser, whatever you need, and then it'll stop accordingly once it reaches the correct torque. Pop that plastic cover back on, and then if you have a key blank that it comes with, you'd simply put that back in place, push it in all the way until it clicks in place. Now, we do sell separately, I'll put 'em on the screen there, a set of the Thule one key system locks. You'll get two keys, those four lock cylinders and that silver key there in the photo, that's what they call the key tool, if you will.
So you have to use that master key or that setting key to get it in place. Now again, that's sold separately. Now, everything here has a galvanized steel finish with a black powder coat and it's gonna be rust resistant so you don't have to worry about all those parts inside of there rusting or getting corroded or anything. It does have a maximum tower load capacity of 165 pounds. Always observe your vehicle's maximum roof load capacity itself.
Make sure you're not going over what the manufacturer roof capacity itself is. And it does require a minimum crossbar spread of 24 inches. And these have a nice limited lifetime warranty by Thule.
