When you’re hauling gear for a weekend on the water or a long road trip, you need bars that won’t flex under pressure. These Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty crossbars are made from aluminum and can handle up to 220 lbs while still keeping a solid, stable platform. The rigid square design gives you dependable strength for kayaks, camping gear, or contractor equipment.
These bars come ready for serious work and play. The top channels are designed for Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories—like ladder rollers, load stops, and eyebolts—so it’s easy to secure long or bulky cargo. Rubber strips sit inside the channels to cushion your load and help keep things from shifting while you drive.
Once your rack is set up, the lockable cover plates on the 2500 Series legs secure the system in place. Whether you’re parked at a trailhead or a job site, the locks help protect your setup and give you peace of mind knowing your rack stays put.
Not every vehicle comes with factory rails, so these crossbars are built to mount directly onto a naked roof. The included custom fit kit works with the 2500 Series legs to create a stable connection without extra hardware. That means a snug, dependable fit that stays true trip after trip.
Each part of this setup is backed by Rhino-Rack’s confidence in its durability—crossbars have a limited lifetime warranty, the legs carry a 5-year limited warranty, and the fit kit has its own limited lifetime coverage. It’s a system designed for years of hauling adventures.
