The # RTS508 you referenced is meant for use on the Range Rover Sport, which have holes installed in the roof for the tracks to connect to. This track system wouldn't work on your Legacy.
Assuming that your 2014 Subaru Legacy has a bare roof, I'd recommend the Rhino Rack Euro Style Aero Bar Roof Rack, which is made up of # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK078.
These racks clamp to the roof using clips that grab onto the inside top door jambs of the vehicle. The clips are plastic coated, to prevent scratching the vehicle.
