Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Great product info on page and very prompt delivery. On unboxing, straps seem very sturdy and well built, as advertised. There are no instructions on how to thread the straps, so if you are not familiar with ratchet straps that will take you a little interwebs research. Awaiting delivery of my UTV, so will update after I get a chance to use them real world.

Instead, I'd choose a rack that is at least a little wider than the lumber you're intending to carry.
