Buyers Products 2" Pintle Hook Mount slides into a 2" receiver to provide a mounting plate for a variety of pintle hooks and combination hitches. The pintle hook mount features 4 pairs of mounting holes for a 3 position mount. The strong, durable construction features continuous welds and a black powder coated finish for corrosion resistance.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a two inch pintle hook mount. The two inch pintle hook mount slides into a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver and provides a mounting plate for a variety of pintle hooks and combination hitches. The pintle hook mount features four pairs of mounting holes, so this offers three different positions to choose from.It's constructed from a strong durable steel construction that features continuous welds and a black, powder coated finish to resist rust and corrosion. Got the nice heavy duty solid strength design. It can be used in either the drop or other rise positions, whatever works best for your application.And some security in your hitch, it does require a hitch pin and clip, or a hitch lock, those items are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. The pin holes on this unit will accept a standard 5/8 inch diameter pin.The overall length from very back to very front measures nine inches.
The whole space in here on the front, up and down, each hole is separated on center by one and 3/4 inches and then side to side they're separated on center by three and 3/8s. The actual mounting plate measure six and a half inches wide by seven and 1/4 inches tall.This unit features a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 17,000 pounds and a maximum towing weight capacity of 3,400 pounds.That's going to do it for today's look at the two inch pintle hook mount.

Just received the hitch mount only 3 days after order and everything was there inclusive of the bolts. Really fast service and helpful on my questions. The construction is very solid and I like the curved ends. Keeps from ripping clothing on the edges. Will hopefully get a chance to try it out this weekend.

Looking for a heavy duty mount for a pintle hook--this seems to be one of the highest rated mounts I could find. Need to add a rear tow hitch to our Rose Parade float chassis due to new parade rules. Easy to install, but did not come with a pin--need to purchase one separately.

I really like how the hook mount is one solid piece. I ordered the pintle hitch recommended to go with this mount, the only downside is the bolts are larger than the mounts' predrilled holes. Not a big issue for me as I have the tools and bits to enlarge the holes but for someone who doesnt they would have to take it to someone to be done. Other than that great products!

The hole drilled for the pin should be further ahead so more of the I beam part of the hitch is able to slide into the receiver. This would make it a lot stronger and would allow for the pintle eye to be closer to the truck which in turn would make the trailer handle better and would be less stress on the product with more support overall.

2 1/2" receiver Pintle hitch works great. Very heavy duty. I pull 30 foot trailer with a 16,000 pound backhoe on it and it works great.
