Easy installation ,done by myself laying on my back in the driveway only took about 1 1/2 hours to do. I have a lift but didn't use it and I think it was easier on the ground for just one person. Sway bar made a big difference in the drivability of my 2003 E350 pleasure way class B

Our Ford E350 got blown all over the Interstate on trips. It was so dangerous at times. At first I installed Bilstein shocks and though they helped a little, installing the front and rear anti-sway bars and the steering stabilizer made all the difference in the world. I changed them all at the same time so I don't know which one helped the most. These are certainly quality products and are pretty easy to install.

Very straightforward installation and all the parts were of high quality. This is a substantial, solid sway bar. My RV feels a lot more solid on the road in curves etc. Very satisfied with the product.

I installed the sway bar on my 2009 Pleasure Way Excel TS Class B motor home built on a 2008 E350 Super Duty chassis. Prior to installing the sway bar the rear springs were upgraded and the RV was aligned to Pleasure Ways latest alignment specs. While the springs and alignment made minor improvements the coach was still a white knuckle ride above 55 mph and even a challenge to keep between the lines at 50 to 55 when buffeted by trucks and side winds.
I installed the sway bar yesterday. Took about 2 1/2 hrs with vehicle on ground on gravel driveway. Would have been a cinch if had a lift or even been able to elevate the vehicle 6". The instructions are far from adequate. Need more pics and exploded views of parts showing proper assembly arrangement. Also, could have used a bit more guidance regarding exactly how to locate the ubolts on the axle. Having said that, the etrailer videos are excellent and helped me do the installation properly.
I took the RV out for the first test ride today. I couldn't believe it was the same vehicle. Original handling was very poor. Had a significant amount of wander and the tail wag could be downright frightening with the vehicle going into oscillations even with the slightest bit of oversteering. With the new Roadmaster 1139-178 anti sway bars installed I had to intentionally try to get the vehicle to oscillate, and even with exaggerated inputs was still stable. Drove the vehicle up at 60 to 70 mph and found it to be significanly more stable even with today's gusting wind conditions. Would not have considered trying this speed before adding the anti sway bars in this kind of wind.
So bottom line for me is that I am very happy with my purchase and installation. Would highly recommend. And as far as dealing with etrailer goes, my rep that I spoke with was very knowlegable about the product. He did some research while I was on the line and found material that assured the part would fit on my RV. Very helpful and professional...and the parts showed up on my doorstep just two days later.

Install went very well, even without a second set of hands. Made a substantial difference in sway of the class B. While worth the time it took to put it in enjoying the drive much better.

E-350 Pleasure-Way Excel TS. Best investment ever since original did not have one. Vehicle was hard to handle at highway speeds. Now handles without the excessive sway. Install with the rear curve of the bar down for best fit. etrailer customer is the best as original received without the attachment hardware. They immediately shipped a replacement.

was excellent! I installed on a Pleasureway Class B Ford E350 chassis, it fit "like a glove".
The chassis had 3/8" holes (short slots) in exactly the position required to bolt on the upper linkage end (after drilling out to 1/2").
The bar center positioned itself perfectly after bolt-up to the area in between the differential cover and the fresh water tank. One feature was the the center portion of the bar angles up from the two linkage ends, the fulcrum being at the axle U-bolt attach regions. Installing this angle up allows the antisway bar center "U" to tuck up and not interfere with access to the differential or reduce ground clearance. This was not addressed in the installation notes and was determined by trial and error. There definitely should be a specific note about installing on the E350 chassis for Pleasure-way RV addressing this. One other comment is that the bar is 1.5" and the vertical linkage bars are maybe 5/8" thick, could they buckle/deform when a strong force is transmitted via the axle given the stiffness of the sway bar?

Sway bar well made. Heavy duty. Bar specifically made for the 2010 Pleasure Way van. Fit was good and installation went without a hitch. Helps control sway on curves. Very satisfied. Would recommend.

In my opinion it makes my van 85% easier to drive. High winds no longer a problem. Van much easier to drive long distances. Only drawback is instillation. Instructions for my application are poor.

Hello Patrick. We installed the product on an E350 Heavy Duty chassis. It was intended to stabilize the campervan in order to correct a sway when towing a Jeep Wrangler. The link below would not work for me. A lot of time was spent on trying to solve the problem. Ultimately the most effective addition was installing custom wheel spacers in order to expand rear wheelbase. Knocked about 85 of the problem out.
