Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Lionshead, 15-inch by 6-inch, Margay gunmetal gray aluminum trailer wheel with a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, very lightweight, and rust-proof. And we mentioned it is a Margay series wheel, and what that means is it's a 6-spoke design wheel. And if you notice, it has the gunmetal gray finish, and then they do a machine face on the edge of the spokes and even on the lip to give it a nice shine.

They do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front. This will protect from scuffs and scratches. And they do offer complimentary roadside assistance on this for two years. They do give you flat tire service, which is available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. If you notice right down here, the valve stem is included.

Now, it does not come with a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website. You do want to make sure to get a center cap, it'll have the same diameter as this pilot hole on the wheel. Because when you install your center cap, it'll go install from the back of the wheel through this hole. The pilot hole diameter on this is 4.25 inches.

This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications, and the SAE J1204 standards. A few measurements on this, we're going to measure the diameter, which is measured inside to inside. So if we take our tape measure, and if we go inside to inside, there's your 15-inch measurement. And the width on this wheel is the same way. You'll measure inside to inside or bead seat to bead seat.

6 inches wide. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel, it is a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you want to measure the bolt pattern on a wheel, that's an even number of lugs, like in this case, 6. It's pretty simple because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and then measure from the center of that hole directly across to the center of the one directly across from it. So that measurement will be 5-1/2 inches. So that means this is a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. This does use the wheel lug size of 1/2 inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds.
