Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your vehicle. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the front axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.

Specs:
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your vehicle. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the front axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.We upgraded our front sway bar on our 2005 Jayco Granite Ridge on the Ford E450 chassis a year ago prior to starting a 17,000 mile trip around the country. It was a game changer for, improving handling and stability significantly (along with proper tire inflation). The installation video is very misleading regarding the ease of installation, showing only the attachment on the right side. The left side is much more difficult requiring wedging the stabilizer tab between the suspension and stabilizer plate. Just be ready for that, it is more involved than the right side.
Dit this job my self , no lift , on the floor on my back and got it installed. Front and rear anti sway bars and 4 new bilstein shocks and yes u need the 8 swivel head socket/wrench tool from harbor freight to do driver side. The rest of the instalation whent well, the onley consern is the front bracket sadle and bushing sits nearly on the bend of the sway bar ( see photo )
Easy installs on my 2004 E-450. The new Roadmaster 1139-115 front sway bar and the Roadmaster 1139-147 rear sway bar greatly improved the handling and cornering of the motorhome. I have aDraw-Tite 65001 front mount receiver mounted and there were no problems when installing the front sway bar.

It is actually a pleasure to drive! When cornering the motorhome would lean and things would slide around and i even had kitchen drawers open. The problems that i had no longer exist. The cost and the work i did to install were well worth it!
Looks like it will work well. Frame brackets had rust and seemed cheaply made. Otherwise good.
Very high quality product. The bar is much more substantial than the original bar. I debated buying the Roadmaster bar for a long time because it is expensive but I never liked the way the original bar was designed to run through grommets in holes in each axle half. The Roadmaster bar provided an immediate ride improvement. 1 mile down the road on my test drive, I was already convinced I made a worthwhile purchase. I found a greater sway improvement by replacing the rear sway bar than the front but I do notice a definite improvement with the front. If I had to do it over again I would repeat my process which was rear bar first then front bar if I felt more was needed.
Delivery was on time.
Applying to a 2006 Ford E450, class C, Itasca Spirit. I haven’t completed the job yet, but here are my observations for the install. First, everything is metric. You’ll need a 30mm socket and wrench for the big nut on the base of the coil spring. It took probably close to 300 foot pounds of torque to remove this nut. There are no specifications provided for the tightening torque of this nut, so I applied 80. Also, the special bolt that the 30mm threads onto has a 22mm head located inside of the coil spring. I needed to access this to lower the special nut after raising it. If you raise the special nut too much, it will separate from the threads it’s engaged with, and I needed to push down on its head with a screw driver while turning it, to re-engage. I wasn’t sure how far down to rethread it, and it doesn’t seem to stop. So I eyeballed the position of the special bolt before reengaging the 30mm nut. This will all make more sense once you do your own install. The two videos were very useful.

After a year of use, I couldn’t be happier. I replaced both front and rear anti sway bars, as well as my steering stabilizer, in the hopes of improving my handling on the highway, and in particular, to prevent getting blown around by passing trucks. I replaced each component about a month apart, but it wasn’t until I replaced the final component, the front anti sway bar, that I really noticed the improvement. I’d like to think it was a synergistic result of all three replacement parts. Regardless, my class C is much easier to drive on the long trips to Florida and back, with no more white knuckle moments.
Nice product. Installed easily. Seems to do what I need it to do. Less movement in wind and around trucks. I did use the rm-1139-115 on my 2003 ford pleasure way although not what mfg suggested. Other similar rv's did use it also and said they liked it too.
great product I felt the difference as soon as I got it on the road. I used the supplied low or short bushings and saddles with no interference problems. I'm not sure why they send the taller bushings in which you use the old saddles with, to me the closer it is mounted to the frame would be the strongest combination. so I called Roadmaster and they could not give me any answer as to which would be better. all in all a fairly simple install for someone with decent mechanical skills I didn't need to even jack up the front.

This way-bar has made a big difference especially when encountering cross winds and big rigs. the kit installed just as the directions said. I was only sorry that i did this after our Alaska trip of 8,728 miles. it would have made that trip more comfortable for the driving part. as on the top of the world highway was pretty rough and one of the original ford sway bar bushings walked its way out of place leaving a metal to metal banging sound until we got to camp that night. I hammered it back in and put a hose clamp around the bar to prevent it from waling back out again. that worked the rest of the trip.
Both links broke . Roadmaster warranted
E350 Pleasure-Way Excel TS. Replaced original with this upgraded Bar along with adding a Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar and Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer. Van was all over the road prior to these upgrades. Sway and tramlining is greatly reduced with the upgrades. Before it was more like herding it down the road verses now driving it with confidence and safety.
Added this to a 1997 Ford E350 Born Free RV and while we have not been traveling much it does appear that the vehicle is more stable and rolls less and recovers faster. Worth the money spent.

Same basic comments, worth the money and seems to be more stable with less sway
Awesome! Our E-350 camper van drove like a boat. The anti-sway bars made all the difference in the world. No more white knuckle grip on the steering wheel. Now I'm cruising down the freeway with a cup of coffee in one hand. Thanks etrailer!
Really firmed up the suspension. Steering is definitely improved and 18 wheelers no longer blow me off the road when they pass. The combination of the thicker anti-sway bars and the steering stabilizer provided a 1000% improvement in the travel experience for our motorhome.
Exact part I was looking for AND Etrailer price matched the price I found on a competitive website...$245 back into my credit card!

Great. Still notice the positive difference in the way my RV handles on turns, especially entry and exit ramps. Definitely worth it.
Purchased this front anti-sway bar for 2004 E450 Fleetwood RV. Installation went well but ran into a small hickup because I was following video instructions for 2006 instead of 2004. Called etrailer on a Saturday and had a call back within 30 minutes from etrailer and a gentleman there got me back on track quickly for a perfect installation! 5 stars for product and customer service! Very impressed!!
Easy install One person
Thank you for the supper super fast shipping.
The sway bar is an excellent upgrade and has improved the handling a lot. I've only had a short test ride at this time but I do see a great improvement. I should have done this 12 years ago.
The installation was straightforward and all necessary parts and pieces were included and good quality. Not an inexpensive upgrade but you get what you pay for.

One year later and its still working great for us. Class C motorhomnes will always be bulky on the highway but this sway bar definitely made a big difference.
