Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Sewer Hose Carrier. This allows you to keep your sewer hose readily at hand, but keep it away from all your other stuff, so you don't have to worry about packing those sewer hoses into your lower compartments and getting everything else in there, possibly contaminated. It helps to have its own designated spot that's going to be really easy to mount up in place. This is adjustable so we can pull this out and adjust the width from 34 inches all the way up to 60 inches and anywhere in between. It makes it really simple to get that dialed into the length of your coach or the length of your camper.
You can have that all matched up. The thing that I really like about the ends here, they've kind of updated the little openings.They're going to be really nice and secure. You can see at the end, it's going to have a tether on that lid as well to prevent it from getting lost or misplaced, but it just locks into place rather than it being like a little door. The older style had a kind of door flap so sometimes I could get caught on the wind and I could open on in while you're driving down the road. This one it's just little tabs that you have to line up, then it locks it into place.
You can also use a padlock to keep this secured for added security. You can line this up with either of these tabs or with this opening right here, going into the mounting bracket as well. The only spot you can't really do is the one that's taken up by that anchor.It's going to be the same on either side. You'll also notice there's a couple little drain holes to let air get in there. It's not going to be completely air tight, which is a good thing.
You want air to kind of be able to move in and go back and forth for those hoses. This is also available in white, it's going to have all the same specs and features just has that different color.Again, the total length goes from either 34 inches all the way out to 60 inches. The mounting brackets here at either end measures a roughly six inches long by roughly an inch and an eighth and then the distance between those two holes center to center is five and a quarter inches. Again, it does come with hardware to get that installed so it's going to be four of these nice kind of thicker self tapping screws so you can get that fastened down to the frame on the underside of your coach or your camper. The diameter of our tube for the outside is five inches for the inner tube, it's four and a quarter.
This does have a one-year warranty and that's about all there is to it for our look at the Valterra Sewer Hose Carrier. I hope this video has been helpful. It works great! I replaced the original hose carrier that was too small. It was easy to mount under my 2022 Prism Elite motorhome.
Works great for my application--storing a poop hose!
I didn't want to mount my sewer hose carrier under the camper so I decided to mount it to the rear bumper but my 22 foot Sunseeker spare tire didn't allow me to use the large expanded tube so I choose to use two tubes and mount one up and one down that allowed me to mount to the bumper with using frame straps. I can now carry my 20 foot rhino sewer hose without having the mess in my truck.

Easy to mount under the trailer. Access to the sewer hose is easily accessible. I would purchase it again.
Installed this on the my R-POD 182G a year ago just behind the wheels near my grey water hookup. I used the OEM mounts to screw directly into the frame. Worked out great and seems to be holding up just fine! I did add a stainless steel hose clamp around the middle of the outer sliding tube to keep the tube assembly from sagging since I needed to extend the tube nearly the full length.

In addition to the factory installed sewer hose tube, I added two more of these to the underside of my fifth wheel. It’s a perfect solution for sewer hose storage.
Mounted on my r-Pod very easily. Looks great!!!

Valtera RV Sewer Hose Carrier helped save the day. I took along a replacement sewer hose on a cross country trip with my trailer. Thought it made sense to have a back-up sewer hose just in case. That case came up as a big pothole and a not secure hose container popped open and out came half my sewer hose. No problem at the next set-up as I had back-up sewer hose in my Valterra RV sewer hose carrier -- which easily stored in the back of the truck.

It is great. I have it mounted on the rear carrier I purchased from etrailer.
Just what i wanted, to store my spare sewer hose out of the way but very handy and easy to use. Shipping was very timly also and they keep me updated when there was supplier shipping delay

The Sewer how’s storage tube has been install for about a year and it is working great, holds a 2 hoses with end fittings in place on the hoses
Just bought my second one of these in two weeks, in two different sizes. I'm using one for a flexible sewage tube and one to hold a collapsible step ladder on the roof of a class B RV. etrailer always through with prompt order filling and quick shipping and. Love their website and the fact their staff is on hand to reply to questions. These tubes are well made and just right for the job.
Took awhile to get it. 1st one lost in USPS system but finally received it today. Installed it on the back of cargo carrier. I was able to fit 20’ of hose in it with it expanded to roughly 50”. Will work well with easy access to it without crawling under RV.
I have had great service with everything I have ordered from etrailer, with really quick shipping.
I looked at making a storage container for my sewer hose but when I found this one at etrailer I had to try it. It was easy to install and my rhino flex sewer hose fits without any issues. Great item.
Needed a longer tube for sewer hose and ends to fit. This will work perfectly fine.

carrier works great. It was easy to fasten to the frame but tricky to place so as not to block under carriage access
Perfect in all ways. Haven't been installed yet . But I've put it up to trailer where it will be installed.
I received this product quickly and upon opening it I could tell it was going to be perfect for my needs. The other similar products I was looking at all had a diameter that was too small for my hose with the ends to fit. This one fits it just fine and I love the ability to extend this to not only hold longer hoses or other items but the fact that it makes mounting it much easier since you can adjust the length to fit mounting points.
Great product. Was able to extend to proper size to fit 2 hoses and end connectors. With a perfect fit.
