Does the Center Support On the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier 50-94 Inches Need To Be Installed

Question:

I have a 2017 outback diamond trailer. Im looking at getting a 50 - 94 inch storage tube. Question I need to extend it 78inch but the seems theres no where to support it in the center because of the cold weather package plate underneath. Do you think just using the end supports will be ok to hold it up. Thank you

The Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier part # A04-5094BK could be used without the center support bracket. However, the bracket can actually be placed where you choose so it does not have to be in the direct center. This may then allow you to use the center support bracket but if you still cannot find a place to mount it then you will still be fine to use the sewer hose carrier without it but you would need to look out for any drooping.

I will say that many customers run into the same problem and leave the center support out without issue.
