This is Jeff at etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a look at this little Add-A-Step for TorkLift GlowStep Revolution scissor steps that have the 25 and seven-sixteenth inch wide mounting base. This part will include everything I laid out here on the table; the welded step extrusion here, with the aluminum links I've attached to the sides just to show you. It comes with the two upper shelf brackets, the two lower shelf brackets, all the hardware you need, and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all goes together.Now, this part will allow you to add an additional step to your TorkLift GlowSteps for RVs. It is designed to fit the two to five step GlowStep Revolution models that have the 25 and seven-sixteenth inch wide mounting base. It will work on models TLA8102, TLA8103, TLA8104, and the TLA8105. All four of those model steps we do sell separately on our website.This is a nice aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel construction.
It's very durable and rustproof.Just wanted to zoom in here just to show you the built-in SureGrip tread right here on the step surface provides nice, excellent footing. And on each corner, if you notice, it has the glow tape, and this will create a nice lighted step surface for safely climbing into and out of your camper at night. Those glow tape here will glow in the dark for up to about 10 hours with only five minutes of light exposure.A few measurements on the step itself: the width on it is right at about 20 and a half inches wide; the depth on the step only is eight inches deep.This part is made in the U.S.A. And again, just wanted to show you on the sides, I didn't tighten them real tight, I just bolted them on just to show you, the aluminum links that allow you to add this to your steps that you have now.But that should do it for the review on the Add-A-Step for the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution scissor steps.

Timely shipping as usual. Adding the step was a little awkward because of all the moving parts, but I persevered. So far I am happy with the results.
Adding this extra step made all the difference in making our 3 step turned 4 step safer and more comfortable to use. Definitely worth the installation. The speed of delivery is unbelievable! The only negative thing I will say is about the website. The description of the step could include the actual measurements of the step and the bracket that the step goes into. With several sizes of steps available, it would help to order the correct one the first time!!
Just got done installing the add a step to my 4 step GSR to make it a 5 step. Following the instructions made the installation easy. Doing this install makes one realize the quality of the parts and the pre-engineering that had been done to make this a simple conversion. I would recommend this product.
The product is awesome! My only complaint is that it is 1/2" wider than my stairs. The stairs were already installed on our camper, a 2017 model, that we purchased in 2021. Maybe we have an older version, not sure, but I was able to add the step to the bottom.
The directions aren't the most clear guide lines. After looking at the directions, looking at how the 3 step set I already had was put together, it became clear as to how to put this together. Looks like it came from the factory. The measurements
provided as guidelines as to how many steps are needed to replace your existing steps is accurate. I purchased a 3 step kit and my measurements were on the border between a 3 and 4 step set. I would suggest rounding up. Adding a step cost me an additional $50 in comparison to buying the 4 step kit originally.
