This step makes climbing in and out of basement-style campers feel natural again by bridging the wide space between the bumper and the door. The 20" long x 6" deep platform creates a comfortable step height with a 7-1/2" drop/rise, helping to smooth out what’s often an awkward or unsafe transition. With a 325 lb weight capacity, it supports steady footing and takes the strain out of that final climb.

Built-in glow tape on the sides of the step glows for up to 10 hours after just 5 minutes of light exposure, making it easier to see where you’re stepping in low light. The SureGrip tread surface gives solid traction so your feet don’t slip, even when it’s wet. Together, they make every climb more secure and stress-free.
When you need to get to your basement storage, the step folds up neatly with its collapsible design. The built-in braces secure quickly with thumb screws and wing nuts, so you can deploy or stow it without tools. It stays out of the way when you need room, yet sets up fast when it’s time to head inside.
Made from aircraft-grade aluminum with a white powder coat finish, this step is durable, rustproof, and ready for long-term use. It bolts to bumpers with at least a 24" x 8" footprint using the included hardware, giving you a solid, permanent upgrade that stands up to travel and weather.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this TorkLift GlowStep Collapsible Step for campers with basement storage. Now, this collapsible step was specially designed for campers that have built-in basement storage. As you probably know, on these campers, there's typically a large space between the door and the bumper, which can make it a little bit more difficult to climb in and out of your camper. So by simply bolting this step onto your camper's bumper, you're gonna be able to bridge that gap, allowing for a more carefree entry. Now, this is going to work with bumpers that have a footprint of at least 24 inches long.
That's going to be the length of this step from end of bracket to end of bracket, and at least eight inches deep. And again, that's gonna be the depth of these brackets from end to end. And to install this step, you're just going to bolt the mounting brackets onto your camper's bumper, directly beneath your door threshold with the included hardware. And on your screen, I am including a photo of the hardware that you're gonna receive with this. I do wanna let you know that drilling is going to be required to properly anchor this step to your bumper.
And then to use this step, you're just going to position the built-in braces that you see right here on either side of this step, so that they brace the uprights against the bottom mounting bracket. And then you're going to secure the braces in place with the supplied pin and clips. And as you can see, I have those pin and clips in place. So this step is in position, ready to be used. And so, this is what it's going to look like when you have this in the in use position, the extended position.
And then if you need to access your basement storage, it's gonna be very easy to collapse this, you're just going to remove the clips and the pins just like that. And then you'll just push this step down or collapse it down. And obviously, this is going to work a lot easier when you have this step mounted on your bumper. I just kinda wanna give you an idea of what this is going to look like when it's in the collapsed position just like that. So it's gonna be very easy to use.
Let me see if I can extend this and put the pins and clips back in. And so, I'm gonna line up our braces here. And again, this will be a lot easier when you have this installed on your bumper, but I just kinda wanna give you an idea of how you're going to use this. So just install the pin and the clip just like that, and then line up the braces with the uprights here. (table thudding) And I think we're good there. Run that pin through and run and run the clip through. And we are in business just like that. And let me just show you what that's gonna look like again from the side profile, then the back of it, another side profile. So this is gonna be a very sturdy step for you. And I wanted to mention that this does have glow tape here on either side there. I'm just gonna go ahead and turn my studio lights off real quick. You might not be able to see it. Let me see here. I can see it very clearly, it's very bright, but that's probably not gonna come over too well on the camera there in the dark. But this label here with the name of the company and the step and that one there is gonna light up really well for you. So that's gonna basically give you a lighted step surface for safety climbing into and out of your camper at night. By the way, these stickers will glow in the dark for up to 10 hours with only five minutes of light. Now, this is made here in the USA of aircraft-grade aluminum, so it's lightweight, but yet, it's gonna be very durable, it's gonna be rustproof. It has this really nice white powder coat on it, so it's gonna hold up really well against the elements. And it does have ridges here that's gonna give you a nice, sure step when you step on that, especially when it's wet, you're not gonna have to worry about accidentally slipping. This does have a weight capacity of 325 pounds. And just to show you the measurement of the platform itself, just the platform, we're sitting pretty close to 20 inches long, and then, right at about six inches deep on that platform. This does have a lifetime warranty. Instructions are also included with the hardware that's gonna come with this to guide you through that simple installation process. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Love the concept, still trying to get used to it being there!
Easy to install. Makes stepping into camper a breeze
Very sturdy and easy to install. Makes that last step into the camper much easier. Glow in the dark stripe could be larger and brighter.
I purchased this step to integrate with the Torklift 8" 4 step stairs on an Arctic Fox camper. As Arctic Fox is a basement style there is an access hatch directly beneath the door threshold that requires some sort of collapsable step. While there is no doubt that the step is well made I was surprised at what I though was an excessive price given the small size of the step. Additionally, the shipping box was nearly completely destroyed in shipment resulting in installation hardware scattered and missing. TorkLift needs to add internal support and cushion to the box so that I do not have to drive to a hardware store.
Order came sooner than expected !!! Etrailer.com offers used item at a discounted price which was amazing deal. And item is in perfect like new condition. Highly reccomend
We have an 811 Artic Fox camper and the last step from the bumper to the camper is 12 inches and was getting hard to navigate. The 6" Torklift Glow Step is wonderful. Makes getting in and out of the camper much easier. Now I'm waiting for the Fox Landing to be available and that will make the camper complete.

Excellent Add-on - Access either side now, Happy Wife, Happy Life!
The perfect item to make easier access in and out of our Arctic Fox 1150. It work well with the Torklift glow steps. I love when folded down you can still access the storage tray. One very minor disappointment the instructions shows lock washer which my hardware pack did not have in it.
