Jeff Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this surface mount RV city water inlet with a plastic check valve. Now this city water check valve will replace a leaking or damaged valve that's on your RV. You can see, let me just zoom in here so I can show you. If you look here it has a nice easy grip knob right here that swivels that'll let you easily attach and detach your hose to the valve.

And on the inside of that they do include a rubber washer for sealing when you connect your hose. Now on the inside of this that does include a plastic check valve which is durable. Won't contaminate any incoming water. Notice it has this nice tethered rubber cap. That'll protect your connection point when it's not being used.

You can just push it into place and it'll keep it in there to keep dirt and grime from getting inside there. It is a surface mount plastic flange, which is UV resistant, corrosion proof. You can see it as a nice black color. The fitting size right here on the back is a 1/2 inch MPT size. The required cutout in your RV is 1 1/2 inch diameter.

Now the valve depth, which will be measured from when this is installed from the back of the flange to the back here to the end of the valve is gonna be right at 1 5/8 inches. The flange diameter is 3 inches and the distance, there's three mounting holes, if you measure this mounting hole center to center, the distance between them is 2 inches.
