The 360x uses four long-range speakers to project ultrasonic sound in all directions, making the space less appealing to mice and other small animals. Two alternating sound patterns help prevent rodents from getting used to the frequency. Because the sound is at a frequency humans can't hear, you won't notice a thing. A flashing blue LED lets you know the sound is working, while the green indicator light lets you know the unit is powered on. You can test the output anytime using the rear test button, which temporarily makes the sound audible.
For best results, install the unit along a wall with the back facing the wall. Avoid placing it behind boxes or equipment, as the sound will not pass through solid objects. The device is designed to run continuously and may feel warm to the touch during operation.
