Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra lead free flush mount water inlet. It has a 2 3/4 inch black plastic flange, and the 1/2 inch plastic nail pipe thread connection. Now this is a flush mount water inlet, has a lead free design. It does conform with federal and state laws for drinking water fixtures. As we had mentioned, it has this 2 3/4 inch diameter black plastic flush mount flange. On the back is the 1/2 inch plastic male pipe thread inside connection.
That has a check valve on the inside. On the outside, you notice has the press in dust plug that you can push in over there to keep any dirt from getting inside, and it has the garden hose swivel fitting with the gripper. Now it does include everything shown here on the table. It comes with the water inlet itself, 3 installation screws to install it, the installation putty tape, and the pipe thread tape for when you make your connection. That should do it for the review on the Valterra lead free flush mount water inlet, 2 3/4 inch black plastic flange, and the 1/2 inch plastic male pipe thread connection.

Other than a shipping delay (had to wait 10 days) this item arrived and I am satisfied.
Replaced an old one. The plastic fitting was easy to screw on. The flange was nice and plyable and fit nicely tomy aluminum siding camper.

Works great a direct replacement for original equipment. The original leaked water onto ground when trailer water pump was working.
Excellent fit ,better quality than my original fitting. Fully synthetic, no metal parts to rust , corrode.. has a great seal that comes along with product.
Water trapped between the internal anti backflow valve and the motorhome tank flush valves will freeze and burst the back of the plastic water inlet.
Otherwise the water inlet does its job.
When tightening a 1/2" adapter to the inlet to prevent leaking, another method must be used to hold due to rotation of the plastic 1/2" mpt portion of the inlet inside the flange.

They are working great.
We ordered this to replace the original part on our Cedar Creek camper. Since the installation a year ago it's working fine and was a good replacement for our broken part.
Not a universal fit for campers with this style fitting. The current housing on my camper would not accommodate the flange which was why I wanted it to begin with since the missing flange on mine allowed a gap around the hose connection for an ant freeway into the camper.

This water inlet has a 2.75 inch flange that mounts against the exterior wall. We have several inlets to offer of varying sizes. Please see the link below.
