Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 15 foot long stick on hollow, half round rubber seal with the tabs for RVs and enclosed trailers. I want to zoom in here just to show you the type of seal this is. It is a hollow half round rubber seal with the tabs on top here. And it's used to prevent water from leaking into doors or ramp gates on your RV or enclosed trailer.
This can also be used on storage compartments and hatches. It is ideal for the sixties air streams as well as Gullwing doors. And this seal is commonly found on Winnebago and Jacobs storage compartment doors and rear drop gates. This seal helps protect your RV from extreme weather and the pest. And what's nice about this material, and unlike your standard foam seals, this product consists of a nice closed cell core surrounded by a solid skin surface for greater weather and wear resistance.
You can see on the bottom that is a peel and stick installation. Has the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing. You just simply peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal to the surface. Now they do also include these two alcohol prep pads that allow you to clean the surface before installing your seal. And also this seal, let me show you, has a nice feature called the skirted peel and stick recess adhesive design.
And what they basically do is this recess tape right up here. You can see it's sort of recessed up under the seal. And on both sides, they have these skirts. They call it a skirted peel and stick design. This feature protects the adhesive tape from collecting moisture and debris.
Also giving a nice finished look when the seal is in place. Dimensions on this again, it's 15 feet in length. The width is three quarters of an inch wide. Overall height to the top of the tabs is eleven and sixteenths of an inch tall. And this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the 15 foot long stick on hollow, half round rubber seal with the tabs for RVs and enclosed trailers..

Replace your old and worn out weather stripping around doors and hatches of your RV before water damage creates a costly headache. Adhesive backing is pre-applied for an easy DIY install.Look for quite awhile to find the correct weather seal for my hybrid drop down beds. Manufacturer wanted to sell me a one thousand foot roll. At 2.00 dollars a foot. Finally found the exact replacement on etrailer at an awesome price.
Rubber seems good, adhesive gave up after a couple of months inspite of a lot of prep work.
Used a little thicker rubber than the original. Sealed back door perfectly!!
The rubber fit exactly on the RV compartment door very well. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.
