Today, we're going to take a look at the Jensen top or side mount black rubber mast antenna. Now, this is an AM/FM antenna, it's black in color, has a rubber mast. It is a top or side mount, and you can do that like right now it's set up for a top mount. For a side mount, all you have to do is take a screwdriver to the screw right here in the side, just loosen it up, and that'll allow you to rotate it. Then go ahead and tighten it down that way. Then with it tightened that way, you can see now it can be used as a side mount antenna.
The cable length it comes with is a little over eight feet long. It does have a ground wire with it. It does include all the mounting hardware to install this. Just the overall dimensions, total length on the mast itself is about sixteen and a half inches tall, the diameter on the mounting section is about two and three quarter inches in diameter. That should do it for the review on the Jensen top or side mount black rubber mast antenna..

It was an exact replacement for what was on my trailer. I just needed part of it. It fit precisely, seems to be completely functional. But then, an antenna is a pretty simple device!
It just what I ordered
I just received my order of a jensen rubber mast antenna, everything was well packaged. Now I need to find time to install it and hopefully be able to get some radio stations. The factory installed winegaurd on our choachmen camper trailer is totally useless.
The antenna is exactly what I needed. Works great and will now last a long time. Unfortunately the original installation was done by someone requiring max supervision. Water under the bridge.
I gave four stars because I feel that since this antenna is advertised for an RV replacement antenna there should be an option to purchase antenna cables at longer lengths. I needed 18 feet to pull through to the radio.

I do have an alternate antenna for you. It is part # AN519 and it has an 180 inch long cable. It has the longest cable of any of the antennas that we carry.

Seems to be what I need haven't installed it yet. Only other comment is the box it was shipped in was not long enough to shipped antenna without keeping it bent. Will have to get it warm and straighten it.

Antenna works great, easy installation.
I chose to purchase a Jensen 44US01R antenna for a used travel trailer we recently purchased that did not come equipped with a radio antenna. etrailer had the best price around and free shipping on a $50 purchase. My antenna arrived promptly and I found the antenna mast was bent (rubber). It was properly packaged, so I called to ask if that is the way they were made. I was informed it should be straight and that they would replace it. Now this was not expected on my part considering it was a usable part. etrailer went above and beyond my expectations to make me a satisfied customer. Installation was easy and it seems to work well. Hopefully it will hold up to the elements over time. Thank you etrailer!

I needed a antenna tower to match my feed cable which was run through the walls of my RV. Otherwise I would have had to fish a cable through a thin wall (No Fun!!!). This antenna had the identical match and saved me a lot of time! Was sent the day I ordered and I got it in 2 days. Very Happy with etrailer!!!

For an aftermarket antenna, I think it was better quality than the original. Doing fine, well made. Worth the small amount of money!!
5 stars for service and the antenna looks right, but waiting for the rain to stop before I can install it.
One star off on the product since there is no information/instructions on installation.
Appears to be pretty straight forward, but two plates and assume one goes under the outside skin and one on the inside, but not sure how to seal it. Butyl tape or not?

Silicone caulk is whats recommended, due to the fact that it stays flexible for a long time.
Exact part needed to get the job done
I side mounted this antenna. There is no way to secure the antenna when side mounted to stop the wind from pushing it back while traveling. Other than that it works great.
Product was as described and arrived qu ickly
Exactly like photo, will work great for our machines.
Product arrived safe and as scheduled. Installed on truck camper that had a stickum type of antenna where the AM/FM reception was so-so. No instructions included but wasn't necessary for installation. Hardest part of installation was drilling holes in the side of the camper. As only a suggestion, use clear silicone on base plate before tightening down screws and finishing the installation to prevent water penetration.
Item as described nicely packaged for shipping .Shipping was fast. It is replacing the antenna on our Lance trailer ( Jensen Stereo) it is the exact one that came with our Trailer new. It broke only do to our stupidity of not unscrewing it and taking it off before putting the winter cover on our trailer.
Purchase this antenna to replace a tall 36” chrome antenna that was damaged on top of my motor home. My previous antenna had a spring base but kept getting hung up on the top of the garage door damaging the base of the antenna. I chose this antenna after seeing similar antennas on other motor homes. I receive great reception with this antenna.

I am not just writing about this product, but rather about the excellent service that is provided by this company. I have ordered a lot of "stuff" from etrailer and sometimes I have technical questions and the support is there. Sometimes I have had issues with a product being delivered damaged (shipping issue no doubt) and support is there. Overall, etrailer deserves more than 5 stars for always doing there best to look after legitimate customer issues with the products they sell. The follow up after sale is second to none and would recommend them highly. It is why I keep coming back!
The antenna was what I expected. What I didn’t expect was getting a package that was crushed, folded, stamped on, run over by a semi. The postal service did put a sticker that they were sorry but not info on filing a claim. From looking at it the only damage is a bent antenna mast. Need to instal to see its ok
