Question:

I will be removing an existing antenna and wanted to know if this pkg contains self tapping screws. My concern is I can’t get under the roof . Also curious if self screws will properly attach the antenna to an aluminum roof. Thanks

The Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R comes with bolts/nuts not self tapping screws. However, you can add these using part # 1131832 (3). In regards to strength, the self tapping screws will hold the antenna just fine on your roof so there will be no issues here.

how would this work on an aluminum boat and would it ground to the aluminum

Aluminum doesn't provide a very good ground so with a lot of boat trailers you just have to get a bit creative. You could run a separate ground wire to the closest nearby steel plate or add a bracket to the frame for this use.
