If the static you are hearing on your Jensen Stereo part # JWM60A is only when the radio is being played then the issue is most likely with your antenna. I would try adjusting the antenna to see if the static goes away but it not then the antenna may be bad and will need to be replaced. For this, I recommend the Jensen Antenna part # 44US01R which is both a top and side mount.
If the static you are hearing is both with the radio and other multimedia inputs such as CD/DVD's then the issue is most likely that the speakers are going out. In order to replace them you will want to match their size with the list I have attached for you. An amplifier such as the Jensen Power Amplifier w/ Crossover Filters part # POWER4002 will also help to improve sound quality but it will not do much if the speakers are already on their way out.
