Removing the Rubber Mast on Jensen Antenna # 44US01R

Question:
I have a nylon cover for my travel trailer for off-season storage. Can the mast be easily removed from its base so the cover isnt damaged? Thank you.

The mast of the Jensen Antenna # 44US01R that you referenced can be easily removed by taking out the screw that attaches it to the base (see attached).
The mast is actually rubber so I doubt it will do any damage to your cover if you fold it down, plus when you remove the rubber mast half of that ball joint is still attached to the base so it may be better to leave the rubber mast installed.
