Will the Furrion Coleman Adapter Kit Work w/a Existing Microair Easy Touch Thermostat?

Updated 01/15/2026 | Published 11/29/2025

Question:

I have an 06 Discovery 39S motor home with 5,900w of solar and 6x 48v/100ah batteries. I have 2x 2019 Coleman Mach 15 HP2 Heat pump 48004-869 with Microair Soft Start modules installed in both. I also have the Microair Easy Touch thermostat. Im looking to get the Furrion Chill Cube 18K Variable Speed Heat Pump, FACR18HEPA-BL Lippert : 2025003161. But I don’t see this model on your site. If I was to go with FR86 and the Coleman adapter kit, can I still use my Microair Easy Touch thermostat to control the Furrion? And still use the gas furnace separately option as well? Thanks!

Hey David, thanks for the information. We do not have that 2025003161 Furrion Chill Cube and I haven't even see a model with a heat pump. Hopefully we get that added to our site soon.

Nothing off of your old Coleman system is going to be compatible with the new R32 Chill Cube units.

The Furrion item # C-FACR15SA-A01 would allow you to connect your Coleman air distribution box and existing thermostat to the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Unit for Furrion Setup item # FR86PR. This has the older 410a refrigerant so you won't have to worry about R32 compatibility issues. Your controls would work the same as they do now.

Where did you find that Furrion Chill Cube with the heat pump?

You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hey David, were you able to find out more about that Furrion Chill Cube heat pump model you mentioned? Knowing where you spotted it could help others looking for the same setup. Your update might also help anyone trying to keep their Microair thermostat in the mix.

@JerredH I contacted Furrion/Lippert and they said they are working on a heat pump Furrion Cill Cube (FCC) version but won't be released until late 2026/sometime in 2027. You may not want to know how I am able to still use the MicroAir thermostat! Haha! I removed both of the old Coleman control boxes, removed the circuit board, removed excess wires that went to old unit, then connected the power wires to the FCC (it is used now just as a signaling unit basically) power connection point, wrapped it in electrical tape, then it slid neatly into the perfect void space above the FCC electrical box, and now I have access via MicroAir thermostat to control both my propane heaters like normal via BT/Wi-Fi.
