Question:
I have a 2022 Jayco Jay Feather Micro 171BH. I would like to add a Soft Start to my A/C. It sometimes trips the breaker or causes the power center to cycle on and off if I set the thermostat too high. My unit is a Furrion Model Number 44A341A. Configuration Number is K-5XKD. Serial Number is T/MB23G1TBD3877F. It is non-ducted and I believe it is 13.5. Please advise as to what would be the best wired unit. Tks

Hey Richard, thanks for the information. It looks like you have a Furrion Chill HE Air Conditioner Unit like item # FR26PR. To add a soft start to it you'll need the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup - Qty 1 item # SSR54FR. This is a standalone unit you install inline with the AC unit. I have attached the wiring diagram below so you can see how to get it set up.
What region are you using your AC in and have you cleaned off the vents recently?

Oh, forgot you question. I am in Northeast Georgia....Ellijay. Yes, I clean my vents frequently, but the filters in the air handler and the fins up top.

Thanks, Jerred! The numbers I gave you were off the compressor. It's all I could find at the time. The link appears to match the unit I have. I believe the Furrion Model Number is FACR13HESA-PS AM, but I couldn't find that anywhere on the upper unit or the air handler. The diagram you sent me is for a 14.5 unit. I assume the the wiring is the same for both the l3.5 and the 14.5?
