Highway drives can get loud fast when the roof rack catches the wind. The WingBar Evo crossbars use an aero-style shape that helps reduce that drag and hum. Split rubber strips fill the top channels to smooth airflow, lowering vibration and noise while you’re driving. The result is a quieter, more relaxed ride even when carrying gear up top.
Whether you’re hauling kayaks, bikes, skis, or a cargo box for a long road trip, these bars make it easy to load up. The top channels accept channel-mount accessories, while the bar profile also works with clamp-on attachments. You can mix and match your favorite gear without needing different racks, keeping your setup simple and flexible for every season.
Some roof racks require cutting rubber strips to mount accessories, but not this one. The split strip design lets you slide mounts directly into the channels—no trimming or complicated measuring needed. Once the gear is in place, the strips close back around the mount to help limit wind noise and weather intrusion.
With aluminum construction and a weight capacity of 165 lbs (always follow your vehicle’s roof load limit), these crossbars are ready for heavy cargo like tents, paddleboards, or extra luggage. Fit great on the Subaru. Only issue I had was manuf. didn't put instructions in box to indicate that rubber strips had to be torn apart and reversed to work which I saw in manuf website comments from several people.
I feel that the service I've received from e-trailer was superb. They made excellent suggestions and I'm looking forward to getting the new rack installed ... again, with their video help!!
I’d give a 4, since the rack is great, but the website picture gives the impression that there are core locks.
I would have appreciated being informed that the Thule Wingbars were not in stock!

I have used these with both ski racks and big Thule cargo box. Nice and strong
Install was pretty straight forward. I did have to drill holes on the roof gutters for the fixed point bolts (2024 Mazda 3 5dr). Shipping was delayed by a month but it was not due to etrailers fault.
The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars were very easy to assemble. I used a YouTube video to review assembly. Assembly was a breeze. The crossbars and attachments made the task of installation of the rook rack simple. The Thule Evo roof rack system is sturdy and good looking.

I ordered the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" with the Evo Flush Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Flush Side Rails and the Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Rail and Edge Flush Rail Roof Rack Feet for my 2020 Mazda CX9. I appreciated the product selector to make sure I was getting all the correct parts. I was happy with the products, but I did run into an issue where 1 of the rail feet had a defective bolt which required a replacement. I was very satisfied with etrailer's customer support, and how well they worked with me to get the part replaced quickly. I'm giving this a 4 start only because of the hassle of receiving a defective one initially
Easy to Install with the proper components. Everything fit my 2019 Lexus RX 350 perfectly
The fixed point feet fit perfectly on the EVO cross bar, but typical of Thule the channel for the feet kept them 2” to far apart. Thule wants you to always buy complete new sets of everything. I extended the channel by 1” on each side. Everything fit perfectly.
Stylish and suites the lines of the Lexus 450h. Quiet when installed - no noise. Beefier than the OEM cross bars by far!
Perfect width for Lexus RX350L. Used with Evo Flush Rail Feet and adapter kit. Also holds roof box well.

The crossbars don't make noise while driving and the aluminum bar itself is 50" not including the plastic end cap, unlike some other brands. Perfect size. The rubber strips are badly designed, though. One blew off in a thunderstorm. Etrailer was great about addressing the problem. Even though it wasn't covered under warranty they promptly sent new ones.
I'm using these Thule Evo Fixpoint Feet #710701 in conjunction with the FitKit #87003 to mount my DropRack XL to the rooftop of my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Eventually I'll get a Thule Rooftop Cargo Box to transport our RV camping supplies for which we don't have enough room in the Jeep or our Aliner RV camper. For now, I'm also using the setup to transport 4' x 8' plywood sheets for a DIY home project. This is the perfect solution for a multi-use application that'll enable us to accomplish more projects around the house as well as on the road.
