Question:

How do you measure for correct size, the total width of hook and loop or just the hook part of it. My overall width is 1 5/16” and the hook width is a 1” so which one do you go by.

If the width of your existing fastener is 1-5/16 inches the correct replacement for your TruXedo Tonneau Cover is the part # TX1115174. This is designed for 6-1/2 foot beds but if you happen to have a long 8 foot bed you would need part # TX1115173 instead.
