Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're going to take a real quick look at these Replacement Truxedo Shur Bond Velcro Brand Fastener Strips. Now these strips are going to replace the hook side only of the Velcro that attaches to your bed rail for your Truxedo covers for six foot beds. So again, these strips are the hook side only and you're going to get a total of four straps. You're going to get, or strips rather, you're going to get two fasteners that are going to be 23 and three quarters inches long and an inch and a quarter wide. And then you're going to get two longer strips that I have kind of rolled up here, these are going to measure 53 and three quarters inches long, and again, the same width, one and a quarter inches wide.
You will get four screws and a set of instructions to walk you through the installation process. And these strips, Fasteners are the direct replacement from Truxedo. So you can proceed with confidence knowing that this is going to fit your Truxedo covers for six foot beds. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. Well, that's going to conclude our real quick look today.

Great customer service! I bought this truck used so had no idea or original paperwork but the techs patiently lead me through selecting the correct cover. I had to send in some pictures and they responded right away. Great job on the follow up as well. The only complaint I had was when I ordered the cover it stated 5-7 days great. Well at 7 days no cover and no change in shipping status. I called and they said they were waiting for fulfillment by the manufacturer. I wish the tracking status had given me that update or I had received an email letting me know. If it’s going to take over the states time just tell me up front id it’s going to be 2-3 weeks cool just let me know that. Other than that installation was a breeze and I took my time. The new cover looks great and I couldn’t be happier.

Great product. The sun doesn't seem to destroy these unlike the oem strips. I had replaced the original strips several times over the last 5 years but a year later these still hold the cover tight.

- For Tonneau Cover Velcro Which Usually Wears Out First Hook or LoopThe hook side of the Velcro connections is typically the stronger section and it's the loop side that would get worn out, but your best option is to check out both sections and see which happens to be damaged. If you can find another section of Velcro that you know works well you might try mixing and matching the different pieces with the Truxedo sections to see which piece is the one that doesn't work. The part # TX1117786 that you referenced is the hook side for a Deuce cover by Truxedo....
