Bypass Mode for Safety
This Type 1 connector will go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for this connector, which is 450,000 Btu per hour. A ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down, pressing firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas.
When choosing a Type 1 connector, consider your overall propane demands and choose a connector with a flow rate that just exceeds it. That way, you won't trigger the bypass mode during normal use, but it will trigger in the event of a leak. If the bypass valve engages, stop using gas and start checking your connections for leaks.

Wrong product after talking to a rep on the phone. Wrong size thread. Gave my specific trailer make and model.
Would not fit the regulator on my camper. Had to get adapter. But good

Great! No problems.Surviving New England summer and winter just fine.
The price was right,& it came quick.The only thing was I had to get an adapter to make it fit trailer part.

We do not have this sort of product fit guided to specific trailers so sometimes it is tough finding the right one. Can you please send photos of the propane end you trying to connect this to?
