The PD 45amp Converter is a Little Too Tall for the Space I Want to Put it

The PD 45amp converter is about a 1/4 inch too tall to fit where I want it to fit. Is it okay to cut 1/4 inch off the base legs as i have another way to secure it to floor.

Hey, Dave.
I’m sorry to hear it ended up being a bit too tall! Unfortunately, any kind of modification, even cosmetic, would void the manufacturer’s warranty. Because of that, I wouldn’t be able to recommend making changes to the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger, part # PD69RR.
We do have the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger part # 34266168. It is shorter but I'm unsure if the other dimensions will work. They are 10-1/2" long x 7-3/4" wide x 3-1/2" tall.
