Hey Rod! Yes, the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD69RR can be mounted vertically. Horizontal mounting is preferred but it can be mounted in any position as long as it has proper ventilation and you aren't blocking the fan and vent holes.
What rig are you adding the converter charger to?

easy install, works well on lithium batteries, does make a hum noise when charging. A separate fan would be quieter.

It is a great product; I installed it to charge lithium batteries. The charger can be mounted in any position as long as you leave room for air to circulate around it for cooling. I have used progressive dynamics products for over 25 years and ad they always worked well.

I mounted mine vertically. It probably doesn’t make any difference because it’s all electronic. Just make sure you have plenty of room for fan and wires. Good luck

I installed the PD9300 in my Scamp 13 so I could charge the lithium battery I installed. The installation went smoothly and it nicely charges the battery. The only downside is that it emits a hum while charging. I believe the hum is coming from the fan in the PD9300. I read another user installed a quiet fan near the converter and that stopped the humming.
